What is the point in the ultimate stop ?

I dont even know how to pull it off i win 90% of my master league games on 6* but i have never really used this. What are the buttons for this ultimate quit/stop, isnt it R1 + R2 ? But also what situations do you use it in ?
for example: would you use it when you've pressed shoot but don't want to. even then you could just press X and fake it. so please im intrigued what this ultimate quit/stop buisness is all about.

do you mean the super cancel? lol I have never really used this, its handy when you can see your player is gonna run the ball off the pitch you just press R1&R2 to stop.

Oooh Super Cancel is useful, like when a through ball is going too far you can cut it out and when you get passed to, move out the way to confuse defenders!

There is no move called the "ultimate stop". If you can tell us either the real name of the move or exactly what buttons you press to do it, we can explain more about it.

Its more a way of changing what the players want to do, for instance running for a ball thats going miles off the pitch.

1 use of 'super cancel' is to move ur player to get a better strike on the ball if u play a thru ball to the wide right u can use the super cancel to position ur player to shoot with power instead of the weak shots that make the player fall ova. move the player in line with the ball and the goal and it will sting the hands of the goalkeeper!!!!

i use super cancel to leave the ball for goal kicks, corners and throw-ins, pretty usefull.

Still haven't got into using it yet.. I never think of it.. even when the player is waiting to collect a through ball when it's right in front of him!
