What Software do people create the kits logos, sponsors and emblems on for the PS3?

What PC software is used to make the logos etc for the PS3 option file? Cause when i just copy a emblem from google or something i get a white border round the badge, so there must be some form of software being used.

I think most people use photoshop, and you gotta make sure the background behind the logo is transparent, will look like chequered boxes . So when you put it on something, You just get the badge

Photshop is good, as is Paintshop Pro. Basically anything that allows the emblems to be put on different layers, once you get the basics sorted virtually any kit is possible.

I have just started creating kits using a program called paint.net. Its free and really easy to use, you just need to make sure the background is transparent.

From what ive heard Paint.NET includes most of the features that Photoshop has anyway so you should be alright with that. Personally ive got Photoshop and eventhough i aint done any kit markings etc i can definitely say that they would be pretty easy to put together on it. Its just about gettin the size and placement right i would imagine.

i have just started using pintshop pro to edit the shirts, but i can never just get the badge sponser and the kit maker. could someone please post a quick guide on how to use this, im not sure if i need to create layers or what.
