first footie title I had was matchday on the spectrum 48K and I won't say how long ago that was!

Damn! that's a blast from the long past. I take it you got Match Day 2 when it came out? The graphics were awesome at the time! Sad to think that now...

I was a dirty dirty Fifa boy until around 2003 (to be fair to myself I ownly had a PC) but I bought a PS2 with Pro Evo 2 in 2003 and I've never looked back! I'd say this year's and Pro Evo 5 are best versions I've played.

First bought the original International Superstar Soccer on the SNES. First game where players looked like real life, Baggio with a ponytail, Valderama with his big hair.... Great game

Brilliant game, never played any game more than I did ISS on SNES. That's the one that had a Scenario Mode?

Anyone remember a guy called Simau, I think he was in the first PES, maybee the second, anyway he was a striker, African, and he had to be one of the fastest in the game, all he had was speed, absolutely no technique, he was the first player I signed every time in ML mode, Absolute legend of a guy, right up there with PCY in the PES hall of fame lol.

First ISS I had was on the SNES circa 1995 but being an old cunt the first footie title I had was matchday on the spectrum 48K and I won't say how long ago that was!

Matchday with its multicoloured pitches and if I remeber rightly about 3 outfield players per side on a way to small pitch, classic

Ive had every single one since ISS & ISS deluxe on the Super Nintendo :p

Me too, since the very first one and had everyone since.

Favourite so far has to be last years 2008 on the PS2. For me, by far the best version ever on any platform. It was just like PES6 but a little more polished.

I have 2009 PS2 but only really played BAL so far, which I like but not as much as ML but can't play ML cause it has the flu. So haven't really played it enough to include it here.

Would love a ML BAL mixture though. BAL mode but you conduct transfers and tactics. That would be awesome. Player manager I guess.

I had International Superstar Soccer Deluxe for the SEGA MD. It was OK. I then got ISS PRO 98 for the PS1. I have bought everyone since.

Just a few months back I found a PS1 emulator on the internet and now have the ISS PRO 98 ROM.

Brilliant!!!
