This has to be the most unrealistic, ridicilous, childish joke of an addition to a soccer game ever, the amount of unrealism this card presents is laughable.

These vids are in slow mo btw, but doesn't rly matter, WHO CAN MAKE SUCH TURNS at SUCH speeds as you can with this card? Its absolutely horrible , you basically don't lose speed at all while turning in 45 or even 90 degre angles, its like you were completely weightless.

And if you check the vid you can see how the guy is SLIDING through the grass with his feet, absolutely horrible.. If KONAMI would actually make the animation realistic so that the player with this card would actually step instead of slide the whole turning would not be so ridicilously fast and agile as if the player had no weight on him.

And the biggest 2 problems with it are :

- Agility has absolutely no effect on it, so you can basically have 1 agility and still perform the same agile maneouver lol.. funny stuff

- Without the card some really agile players like Messi or Sanchez feel a bit less agile as they should based on real life, the problem is with the animation of turning 90 degrees without this card, the player will almost completely stop while with this card the player will turn without losing any speed at all, so the difference between this card and no card is immense... Without it the players are far more realistic but the problem is still the 90 degree turning which is WAY too slow and akward without it.

Errrr, I can't see what's wrong there in that clip. I was expecting something really unreal or unbelievable.

That's just a guy dribbling isn't it with fantastic body weight. Is he not turning? I thought he was more shifting his body weight from side to side in a lithe movement.

The other point, is this animations malarky. Okay, yes we're in the 21st and KONAMI should have gotten their act together a bit more on this. But really? When I play PES I want to be immersed in the gameplay. I couldn't really care if the players were replaced with giant eggs like Dizzy, as long as it plays like football I'd be fine (well okay may be a bit of an exaggeration).

Do you not think people can move like that in the video you highlighted? If you had made another video with really unrealistic movements I would have looked closer. Totally different sport, but did you not see the rugby league grand final last week, that guy burrows was belting at pace at angles, ghosting past players. Much like Bale or Messi, Ronaldo, Nani etc.

Am I missing something here?

Yes your missing my point completely.

My vid shows only the weird skating animation and its slow motion aswell.

I didn't really showcase the true speed movement during gameplay but you should know it already since your playing the game, its a bit too much, turning 90 degrees and not losing speed at all ( yeah Messi can almost do that but even he loses some speed during the turn and has to get it back after with accelerating again ).

Actually here are all my gripes with it :

1- A bit too much turning 90 degrees without any loss of speed
2- Agility ( EP ) doesn't affect it so even if Messi could turn like this ( he can't but he can close to it ) what about all the other players with this card, since everyone with it has the same turning rate and speed and is not dependant on stats

forgot one more thing

3- Why are the players without this speed merchant card like 3 TIMES less agile and slow while turning, the difference is huge.

I ve been disagreeing with Mystery Man in the past few weeks but I agree with him on this, the speed is a joke! Ronaldo even more than Messi is totally untouchable, and when you release the turbo and go slow to weive around defenders he's even more untouchable, you basically need to get lucky that a defender is in good enough position to take the ball away, but half the time he gets it back anyway.... Konami made a great game IMO but F'ed it up with crap like this!

yeah, and the animations when the leg moves from one side to the other aare too robotic and impossible. It should be toned town or there should be a button to activate it when you want to run like that.

Indeed it should be toned down, but if not at least the players without it shouldn't be SOOOOOO much worse, the difference is huge.

a bit off topic but still .... I love how Alexi Sanchez was shit last year when he was on Udinese but now that they have him on Barca he's a superhero like all the other unstoppable Barca players.. wtf

but its KONAMI they dont know shit about player stats, look at how Inter is rated and they suck for 1 year now.

Lol, just learn to defend better. It's not as easy as in Pes11, but it's not to difficult to stop Messi/Ronaldo. Just dont make a move to fast cause then he will trick you easily, just like in real life.. Be patient and time right to make a sliding or so.
