yeh they compliment each other really well and with stanley matthews in between them, it really is an amazing strike force. I really recommend you
buy matthews (called marrius on the game) as he's probably the best player ever to grace a PES (apart from Recoba on the one and only PES2 of course)

I was Liverpool. i sold kewell whos stats were dropping, and brought in him. I only had pele, Rivelinho and matthaus. I like to keep some realism in the game. Had adu and robinho both crap, i thought. I think martins was one of my best buys.

The best classic player is surely Maradone (Maradona) he's dribbling is the best on the game - and he's suprisingly good in the air for a little turd.

i think on form at the moment shev-crespo r betta cause ive seen ronnie and raul this season and raul isnt scorin at all and ronnie looks like he cant b bothered unless he scores within the 1st half

De Stafano is pretty good aswell, I know what you mean though about players who are statistically too good then you get them and wonder what all the fuss was about, I think the same of Pele, he not that good on the game...
Good DMs - Bos (pops up on ML) - Socrates (Classic Brazillian) Heitinga is superb there in the hole, you need someone good in the air and very mobile, I found a player called Heunongas too good in their and some french chap called Fae (not the Portsmouth one)
In real life I think Crespo is not upto the standards that Milan play at, did you see the game against united their play slowed right down as soon as he had the ball, Ronaldo is a top, top player but still hasn't been the same since he got injured at Inter..
Raul has had a poor season, Shevchenko is Mustard, thank fuck Rooney is English!!!
