When did PES5 'click' for you??

My first multiplayer game. AS Roma vs Newcastle United. I pick the ball up with Totti, turn and skip past three players then unleash an absolute rocket from 35+ yards into the far top corner. I lost 2-1 but that goal left me wanting more!!

in fact i like losing, it makes it more of a struggle to get promoted and win titles.

At first even on 3* I was getting draws and occasionally 1-0 wins. After a dozen games or so, started to get the 'touch', and begun ripping opponents apart. I'm now playing 4* and winning most games easily. Always play with Juve or Barca - best 2 teams on continent!!

I dont think its ompletely "clicked" yet for me, ive had flashes, but im abit inconsistent, first game with AC Milan against my bro i won 5-0, but then i can lose to him 4-0 when im italy, im struggling to score against the computer, but solid defensively so 0-0 are quite common at the moment. (on 4* in master league and 5* in friendlies) A bit annoying but i might go down to 3* and build up again, i think thats how i started on pes4, such a while ago now

After a couple of games. It's all about the midfield now isn't it? Simply thumping it forward or playing endless amounts of through balls doesn't work anymore, probing for an opening (oo-er!) does.

It has clicked, oh yes, it has clicked!

had it a week, played everyday about 3 hours min., and still didn't click for me, can't score shit even on 2*

well u must be crap then - why not give up and take it back to the shop now?

4 games into a master league that I started last night(I've been manually editing and playing multiplayer cups dor this long. I got the game day of release...) and my results:

Bolton 0-0
Arsenal 3-1
Aston Villa 2-0
Man City 0-0

I'm happy so far but can't say it's 'clicked'. It'll click when I score one of those Carlo's screamers in a match and not just in training all the time...

its finally all fallen into place!!!

i've been having a bit of a nightmare so far with pes5 on 5*. it just hasnt be working for me, although theres been signs of the old brilliance and glimpses of the new magic required to master pro5 i was still floundering. i did a whole premiership season with united and finished 4th, only scoring 42 goals in 38 games drawing eight games 0-0 and winning ten at 1-0. now that was a shock to the system.

talking of systems, i finally decided half way through my next season to change things around. i'd already used a 4-3-3 and then switched to a 4-5-1 because i was losing to many midfield battles. finally i went back to tried and tested 4-4-2 and its paying off big time! i've won four on the trot scoring 10 in the process and am closing in on the boys in blue from chelsea, from a 9 point gap to only 4! i'm on the up and finally its starting to click

Well I feel I needed to update my process because it clicked for me yesterday, beat bayern on 5* 3-0 , all over them they didnt get a shot at van der sar's goal, then at 12.45 that evening i started playing again beating real 3-0 and 3-1, knocking about nicely creating loads of chances, and Snoopsimon i think your right, it is alot about midfield, gotta keep passing it around, keep possesion and wait for an oppourtunity, cant rush things any more.
