which difficulty setting?

I'm new to the PES games so when I started a master league I set both the difficulty settings to the second easiest. It seemed about right difficulty when i started, but as i've gotten better at the game (and purchased better players mid-season) its gotten far too easy. I'm coming to the end of my first season and i'm winning every game.

is there any way to increase the difficulty mid-masterleague game or do i need to start from scratch?

Also i've noticed that players never get injured. Am i just lucky or is this down to the masterleague difficulty setting being so easy?

To change the difficulty, wait until the end of the season, then change the playing difficulty- you can't do this during the actual season because otherwise any game you really needed to win you could just make easy. As for the injuries, generally in the PES games you just don't get many, but turning both difficulty levels up increases it a bit. Hope that helps.

Yeah play regular next season, then professional the season after, then if you think you can top player the next, thats what I did, now I'm winning almost every game on top player...but not all lol.

Injury proneness of A makes it unlikely your players will suffer any injury when playing against CPU. As most players have this setting then it's the norm.

Against another human... injuries are more frequent. Mainly due to CPU not being quite as clumsy with it's challenges.

Thanks for the info :)

I think i'll restart - this season has just been just way too easy - I've only lost one game. As a result i have earned a ton of cash (and barely spent any in the mid-season transfer window).

I cannot play top player, i prefer it for attacking as its a bit more harder and rewarding when you score. But i get so angry when defending, you could have the best defence possible and have completely no threat at all from the opposition, but then from no-where the CPU will get a scrappy goal.

Oh it's very frustrating too right, but after a good number of games, you will master it.

If the game is get too easy for you, sure bump the difficulty up a level and find out if you can handle it.

I just went through a season on ML where I won every single game (Top Player) except two draws in the European Championships Group Stage. Which I found incredibly boring.

Erm... regarding going up levels, I found the hardest transition being from Amateur to Regular (or ** to *** as it was at the time), no joke, because on ** the COM players run at about 4/5 of their maximum speed, while from *** to ***** they run at full speed and the only variant was the tactics employed, so I could just run around everyone and rip them apart.
