Hello folks, a bit of a world cup thread, perhaps it would be interesting to share the players of your ML teams who are currently playing in the world cup final? For me, it is quite interesting to keep an eye on how "my boys" are doing for their countries, especially for the not so famous one :

I am PES unite currently in 2021, don't have many the game's big star in my team, neverthless here they are:

A. Torres - LM/WF/SB, OR 91, age 30, Paraguay (saw him play)
Vidal - CM/DCM/SB, OR 90, age 30, Chile (saw him play)
Palermo - CF, OR 85, age 22, Agentina (bench warmer for St. Diego :))
A. Fernandez - RM, OR 88, Age 31, Uraguay (haven't seen him play, but he is in the tearm)

I have just released:
Edu - CM/DCM, OR 86, age 35 (Original), USA (saw him play yesterday, great player!)

I have just finalized the deal for:
Julio Cesar - GK, OR 78, Age 18 (Regened), Brazil (of couse I saw him play, no need to introduce)

All in all, Torres, Vidal, Palermo and Edu have all served my well, and I am sure Cesar will sort the GK position for the next 10-15 years!

Awesome topic!

I've seen so many people i used to play with in this world cup. There arent many from my current team (K.Asamoah & Adiyah from Ghana, Gourcuff from France) but ive seen soooo many players that i thought were either made up, or that i'd never see play. Such as Vidal, like you said, also Tagoe from Ghana, Hamsik from Slovakia, even Blanco from Mexico who is now 37 used to be my star striker on Pro Evo 2!

That is right, one of the aspect that I enjoy most is when some one I managed/played in my football games make a name for himself in big tournament in real life.

A few years ago, when I was playing a football management game (LMA Manager), I used to have this 18 years old wonder kid from Slovakia, and his name is, take a guess... Vittek, the guy who put Italy out their misery yesterday :)

I also realized that Okubu, who I have in my ML team a few seasons back, is in the impressive Japanese team. Too bad his rating keep going down after I signed him, so I sold him after only one season.
