I dont believe PS2 can be classified as current gen anymore (its officially last gen for me) but anyway; its better on the old and faithful

Just wait though, I have a feeling we are in for a pleasant surprise this year.. the gameplay is great even on the PS3 (if you look past the glitches) , its just unleashing the coding to make it look better and getting the best out of the AI

I agree with bongplayer PS3 and co are current gen consoles.
PES 2008 PS3 is still very much a pickup and play game. Just try to win the International cup with a team like South Africa or any other minnow it's very challenging and just shows how little effort was needed to make pes2008 a really excellent game.
Its alot harder when you cant skip through the opposition to score.
