I think the AI is exactly the same for all refs isn't it? I haven't noticed a difference! Is there supposed to be?

I couldn't find another ref thread after searching so I don't think it's been put up before. I'd like to know who the strictest refs are, cos I like to play clean but one of my mates is a dirty get and he often gets away with allsorts. It sickens me....

I think they're all as biased as each other on PES4.

I do sometimes think that the refs being especially harsh or lenient in one game but I never see who the ref is let alone make note of who's the best one!

Uhm, there was a PES4-review scan floating around that had "ability to see fouls" and "strictness" rated with 1-3 stars for each referee. Unfortunately, it was all in French, so I didn't get it.

yes i am from france, i have bought pes magazine, and normaly the referee dont have same reaction : there is 3 star in 2 type of level : Severity of fault and Severity of Card (yellow, red)

i dont have the book right now so i dont know whats all severity but i know 2 refery : Francois Seraphine 2 stars evrywhere
and Isu itako? ( japanese name ) 3 stars evrywhere ( its means he is VERY serious !)

Me and the lads have been using Johan Jansen (Dutch) recently. We normally pick a ref for every session to see who is the best, so far he has been good. Sent a few players off and he isn't shy with the yellows. I like a strict ref.

I don't think so. I unlocked the lot and he wasn't there for me. There was a similar guy though, he was called Heinrich Hausen, bald and strict. Although he was on the box, Collina was lisenced to FIFA and couldn't appear in the PES apparently.

Fucking Refs!

Fucking RefsToday I was playing my friend and I guess you could say I was having a disipline problem today. I never get people sent off, but today I had 5 people sent off in 2 games so it was a bad day to begin with. Third game, he's up 2-1 and I'm a man down at around 60 minutes, Di Viao breaks past Rio Ferdinand and has a one on one with Howard who then comes out of the box and promptly flattens Di Viao with no attempt to get the ball. Result yellow card, has anyone had this happen to you, the keepers get away with bloody murder!

Worst part is when you are going past the last defender and he batters you but without a sliding tackle, and fuck all happens to him, not even a yellow!!!

I've only ever seen the keeper sent off once, when I went round him and he took me out (not to dinner, although that would have been much nicer)

there is an asian fella thats very strict. And the english guy ( martin sonething, that kind of name) is leniant. Dont know about the rest though.

I really don't think there is any difference between the referees, despite their appearance obviously. They always seem to make the same decisions - i.e. award too many penalties.
