Why am I always getting subbed off after 70-80 minutes in BAL?

the question is in the title folks, I have improved my stamina to 88 and I still get subbed out of every game after about 70-80 minutes... what do I have to do in order to play the full 90 minutes?

Keep an eye on your stamina bar. When it's in the red or entirely empty, your coach is always eager to take you out of the game. It all depends how much efforts you did with your player. Sometimes it´s wiser to stay in your area of play and let your team mates do the defensive work.

Strange indeed... I suppose it's a matter of details. Like playing in your designated position for example. The rating system also seems to appreciate that you let your player make decisive passes to team mates, rather then going for the goal by yourself. The number of interceptions your player manages is also taken into account.

I'm afraid it's hard to answer your question. Maybe a certain style of play gets more rewarded?

It's basically random. Im playing in a 4-4-1-1 team and there's about 4 natural strikers in the team, which means I get subbed pretty often.

But when I played in a 4-3-3 team where there were only one other natural center striker but me, I got to play alot more.

Also, if your team is behind, the AI manager usually subs a midfielder or defender and pushes up the team, rather than subing you out.

And vice-versa, if you play in a 4-4-2 styled attack, then you might be subbed out so that the AI manager can throw in a midfielder or defender in the dying minutes, when your team needs to go defense (eg, 4-5-1 or something like that).

Just a theory.

Ravex, thats indeed what happens, but its an odd behavior for a "manager" to sub his best player on the field all the time...

You don't need to tell me that twice. Especially since the team I play in usually concedes every time they sub me off which makes the scoreline 1-1 instead of a winning 1-0.

It's beyond irritating.

yepp, just the same as with every team I've played with, and I've played with MAN U, Inter and Juventus... if I don't take the ball every time, they just get lost...

Yeah same here, I always got subbed off after usually about 65mins or over, then I went to Real madrid who don't sub me until about the 80th min or even not at all if my stamina bar is atleast about 50%. But that's because my stamina stat is going up pretty rapidly even though I only have 1 strengthen block on it. So far for me I've played for London FC, Man Blue, Pompy, Juventus and Real Madrid and Real Madrid don't always conceed as soon as I go off. My advce to you is just to stick to your area at all times even if the ball is close to you and your not near your position, Be a good playmaker as that is a good skill to have (but that doesn't mean to not score if it's one on one and try to get an assist.) and pass a lot. Don't try to lead a one man war. Pick a team with less attacking ability if your a CF for max playing or ick a team with not a lot of attackers. Real Madrid have a good attack but not a lot of Attackers, So that's a good option.
Hope this helped ya lol...

thanks Comedowntotheden, it might be handy.

Did anyone manage to get to a stamina value of over 90, 95? Do you still get subbed?

I found out that now, with stamina of 89, when I play for my national team (Israel), I get to play full 90 minute games and not get subbed. I think that it has to do with the stamina value of your player, compared to the stamina values of other players on your team, so if other players have lower stamina, they get subbed first...

I have a stamina of 94 and i don't get subbed unless my stamina gauge goes into the red (in which case you get subbed off no matter how high your stamina stat is)

I only got subbed if it was in a tournament final and it went into extra time and i would get subbed to protect a lead that my team had.

I have also found out that when i got 30 years old i played for my national team in the WC and i was a sub for every game. I only came on at the start of the second half.

Even thought i am now 31 and my stamina is at 94 still, i have to become more efficient when playing the game otherwise my stamina gauge goes down faster than usual. This is something that became apparent to me when i got older in the game.

thanks, great tip :)

I think we need to discover what affects stamina. When i designed my BAL player i set his attributes in his physical presence how i thought a a good player might be.Dont know if it works yet because ive only played about 15 games!Ive given him massive legs (thickness) not too tall and a slightly bigger upper body hoping hes fast with good balance. Its a learning curve but perhaps creating a player this way helps,(i hope, keep you posted)My player is in the 80's for speed at 17 and shot accuracy 70,s.Ive now played a match for 75 minutes so stamina cant be too bad
