not only, english players are overrated a bit, and brazil players are underrated except for the stars. i mean check gerrard better than emerson, though emerson is the best cm in italy over years, look at the defence, at kleberson etc.

As usual with Nokami, they can only rate the players they see more of. So those in the more popular league will usually get better stats. The well-known Brazilian players are amazing and the not-so-well-known ones are not so good.
Kleberson, Djemba and others will probably be much better rated in the next version of the game since they now play at a big club.
I agree that the Brazil formation isn't great. Give them a normal 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 and play against them with both teams on red form arrows and you will see a lot of action! :)

do the stats before a match say brazil are better?
brazil still play better than England though.

What i mean is, are brazils stats better than Englands (y'know on the strip selection screen?) cos England don't play better than Brazil.

It's because Konami is trying to prove a point.. After the World cup with scolari coaching brazil..then went on to Portugal, and Carlos alberto Perreira appointed brazil coach....brazil plays boring (think of WC 94 when CAP was at the helm)...no where to the style of scolari who used a 3-5-2 formation(WC 2002)...CAP likes to play more of a defsive play(brazil has never been regarded as good defenders..more better at possesion and attack in midfield)..totaly against the style of brazilian norm. When you earn enough points ...use the team strategy edit...and change formation to more attcking..like a 3-52 or 3-6-1.

i agree.
whenever i play international league, it's either england or france always to 1st team below mine. it's never the brazilians.

i wonder the formation would affect COM's simulations......

the formation does make alot of difference. I chnage the france team 2 my mates startin line up so he didnt have 2 change it every time he came round. n they r now even better than before. He changed my ukraine team 2 n he said they came just above mid table in his league! Or perhaps thats is just because ukraine r scint
