I have a NTSC PS3 bought in the States. I live in Western-Europe and have a European PSN account. I still play against (South) American users all the time. I do not want to play against them since their internet is slow as hell. Any ways to play against Europeans?

It depends on the version of the game you have, sounds like you have a American copy of the game so online goes to the american severs. Get yourself a UK or Euro copy of the game & you will play on the european severs
