WHy can't you use 2 controllers in Cup mode???

thanks but no thanks thats shite we dont want nowt do to with the computer and i like to play the league with a mate .the worse thing about it is u can do it on the ps2 what a load by konami whydid they do that

This really doesn't cut is as an excuse to take it out though, Its more likely to be the Trophies feature, or the future implementation of it, which has caused the feature to be removed, because after all, if someone is going to play as the cpu team and deliberately lose the match, then what is the point of playing the game in the first place, there is no sense of acheivement, secondly without thinking ahead to the Trophies featue, what possible benefit could there be except for intrinsic ego-boosting superficial ones to the player who decides to play matches this way, Its only the trophies feature which allows the player to up their gaming rep, which is considered real cheating as opposed to someone cheating themselves basically. That said, It should still be an option to concede any trophy rights by playing 2 player Cups/Leagues, I for one would concede them without blinking to be able to use the 2 player feature, and I'm sure a few others would as well.

I don't go for the theory they took the 2 joypad option out coz people would cheat. An easier way to win matches and competitions would be to set the difficulty level to Beginner, even a small child could win their trophies doing that. But why they took that feature out is a mystery to me. 2 games in to the next gen PES and the PS2 version is still better, there's something wrong there
