Why did I ever start to chip the ball!!!!!

I am fooking sick. Does anybody else try to chip the keeper too much?

Since the begining of PES2 days and learning score from a chip I tend to do it all the time!!! A regular clean through my mates defence will nearly always provide me to be "chip cocky" as they bring their keepers out. But chipping is not that easy and they have latched on to me so tend to bring out the keeper then release the :ps-triang so he'll go back to safely catch the ball.

Can anyone else relate to this in any form or have techniques and wonder why the hell they do them. It only ends up in frustration.

From now on my motto is going to be "Keep it simple.....". Infact, to put it into my head I am going to put it in my sig.....
Sry, just needed to moan for a bit :) :)

That reminds me, I have to switch off the double-tap [] type chip. That's buggered up a few 1-on-1 chances.

I set-up some beautiful scissor-kick volleys using aerial through balls from just inside the box, so I've been hammering that tactic a bit too much, and getting fewer results from it.

i find it waaaaaaay to easy by pressin R since... if your 1 on 1 with tha keeper then you just have to press R1 and then tha ball will ship up abit and tha keeper will just fall to tha ground expecting a low ball!! :( Now thats a guud wayy to score but it gets abit too easy and its annoyin tha they just drop straight to tha floor before even chippin it in tha air properly, In real life they dont do tha!!
o well least people who struggle can do tha... get sum more goals :)

I managed to chip the keeper from outside the box and he wasn't even that far out, my mate was pissed off though!!
I find that some keepers will come out more than others, Barthez for example is a liability and can be chipped quite easily!

the higher the keepers attacking rating, the further off their line they will stand.

if u need to practice chips, put a keepers attacking rating high and play in training

The chip is more likely to be succesful if you press square, wait and then press R1 in the very latest moment. The player will perform a feint then. I usually do it this way because it's more effective than regular lobs.

WELL THE EASIEST AND MOST SHOWBOATING WAY IS TO SCOOP THE BALL OVER THE GOALIE AND FINISH IT OFF WITH A NICE 'HERNAN CRESBO' VOLLEY. to do this simply hold the right analogue down when 1 on 1. then let go when the keeper starts to come out then just watch the class and finish it.
