Hey guys,

Great forum!

Should have joined earlier.......

To the main point, Why do i suck!?

What am I missing? I know we can no longer control the movement w/ the Right stick, but everything just feels so awkward in this game, but it LOOKS GREAT! Graphics are at about where they should be for pes., But the feel just feels lighter than the last game, when you kicked the ball, you actually felt it.... this game , not so much, but i love the goals in this game, the net movements, etc.

Only goals ive scored are weak power ups and one inzaghi GK feint w/ the man himself...

Bullet shots are very hard to get now, is there something I can do to get off the 08 style or should i just suck it up and buy the guide?

do you guys have any quick tips for a new 09 guy? I really cant get it yet and dont have a ton of time to play and practice

and can we edit xbox 360 leagues/teams from those option files you guys spoke about ? No right?

You're right about shooting from distance, they have made it pretty difficult attacking from the center and getting to comfortable shooting possitions. The only thing i can advise you (and i noticed that pretty quickly as i always been more of a flank guy) is that you should use the flanks more. I mean, it's more realistic (as in real life, the center is pretty jammed with defender and midfielders) and use the crosses more. They have made all the crossing system really useful, and the crosses get a lot more to your attackers.
Another thing, is using the 1-2 pass a lot more. I've been using it since ever as my ultimate attacking move, and now, more than ever, you need it to beat the wingers, and get to a good crossing possition.

1-2 pass is Hold L bumper right? and then watch his run?

Red owl, you already masterd it?! if it got boring for ya, then how do you shoot a nice howler????

I read in the manual you have to hold "Y" after the shot, but that is very awkward

I also noticed that dribbling combos of L and R work well , but slow the player down and you need to make up for it, making it even harder to maneuver

The control under low speed is pretty easy though i noticed as well....

Double tap the shoot button, first tap is for the height of the shot, and the second tap makes it a screamer... try it. On the PS3 i double tap square and let off some real serious shots.

Practice more and more. Lower the difficulty, then when you score too many and you'll find it easy, go to a higher difficulty.
Also pes 08 was too easy compared to 09.

i cant understand why people complain about the game being to hard, if the game is to easy then the longevity of it will not last just like last years mess of an arcade game which i played for two weeks and then bought the ps2 version. The best advice i can give you is to use width like other people have advised, although heading is quite hard you will create much more space and take people out of position. I still feel this game is only a great challenge when using manual passing it is so unrewarding otherwise

I'm with red owl on this. Only had it a short while now and I'm top player and kicking ass quite comfortably (ML mode).

I've just kept what was given to me. Invested in some unkowns and a couple of them are working out. Season didn't start off well (defence wise) so I loaned in a GK and a RB. No beef there.......

No wonder your finding it easy wanna be DJ. Keeping full Man U team is like the real Man U playing in Championship. I'm with ezekielpacman, start with Burchet, Castolo.. etc

Well i didnt know that!! Explains why most of my shoots go for the sky!!

The default players are rubbish but i still sticking with them it does make the game fun!

I dont like using Burchet etc cus their not 'real' but i agree its more challenging to start off with a weaker team such as spurs or Villareal or Udinese
