I have two Nakata's in my ML team.

The Japan version and the Fiorentina version.

The other version (if there is a third) might be his younger brother, Koji.

different stats for their national & club teams? For example Nakata.

I know what you mean.
Hide Nakata, Shunsuke Nakamura, and Shinji Ono.

Not exactly sure y myself but the club players are better and more realistic than ones on national team so I replace them. Maybe Konami thinks those 3 players really underperform for their countries :D

btw those are the only 3 players in this situation. All other duplicates have same stats but diff appearances.

I think it might be because they couldnt get the licences for the naitonal teams of Japan South Korea ec so but they could for the Italian Dutch an Spanish leagues where some of them play which emans you get 2 versions: 1 licenced 1 not. As for the different stats i really dont know bout that

i think the reason for them having different stats is that they play better for their clubs or country has giggs has better stats in the man united team than he does in the wales team cause he never seems to play as good for wales probaly due to the huge expectation on him

as do deutch and german players
ya but they have the same stats. 2 diff profiles but identical stats. Only thing diff is fake names and the club players have more realistic appearances.

nah. Japan and South Korea are the only 2 national teams licensed, with official kits and all. Also if they couldn't get the license for Nakata, Ono, and Nakamura then their names would be messed up like Mataka, Ini, and Namakura or something like that lol.

this goes for all the players, licensed or unlicensed. Check out e.g. Dida and Adriano.

It's just another one of those Konami idiosyncracies that there is no known explanation for. A bit like the striped shirts fiasco.

Yes this is probably the correct answer. Konami have many inconsistencies in the PES series that they need to Iron out.. the Holland syndrome has gone on for too long now.. In the earlier versions there have been two of each player same as Germany and Czech Rep in pes4.. but not England, France & Italy.. its all inconsistent.

Gotta agree with the man.. just a reiteration from before that the two player profile thing has gone on long enough with konami they need to get rid asap. Its annoying especially during ML when you have Juventus with Nedved in midfield and FC Porto gon and Buy Nedved from Czech Rep.. or Liverpool nickin Ballack from Germany and not Bayern Munich..

well the simple answer wud be to just swap the players for their more realistic selves in the national bit of the register player section
