Why won't at least one of my Centre Back's go up for corners?....

Just buy tall forwards! doh They do come up if your getting beat for corners in the last 10mins or so, the counter attacks are so quick that Konami must have thought you would be miffed at the lack of defenders when the opposition break. I scored a quality goal from the half way line when the COM's keeper came up for a corner and I broke away. At first I thought the ref was going in for a header.

I've scored off a few corners now.. I put Libermann in for my attacking midfielder on set pieces only.. and switch him back if i get no joy.. i've also used the attacking meter to effect also as explained in earlier posts.
Wouldnt it be good if you could assign specific instructions to players at set pieces.. like your full backs to stay back and one not both of your cb's to go forward.. like they do on manager games.. or would this be too involving for pes players?

Centreback overlap works a treat, also, go to individual on the tactics screen and give the defender you want to be in the box a forward arrow with low defence settings - this works too.

Yeah I think you have a good point about being able to tweak things in the way you do on manager games. But its meant to be about the gameplay without loads of complications. But I feel if Pro Evo wants to move on they have to get a right blend for the more experienced gamer with the tacical knowledge as I bet more than half the gamers dont use the manual stategy to swap wingers play for offsides etc......

The section in formation settings where it says Individual. You could have an extra option called assign specific instructions.
So for Rio Ferdinand or maybe Ahmed Madouni have one of his instructions as go up for every corner...
The Individual Specific Instructions could work wonders for pes players i think konami would have already have this as a suggestion.. its just they might not want to go that deep in fear of turning it into a manager game

Well, they are bringing a manager game out but you can set up other things, so why not that?...

I think it should be an addition to PES6....
