Why won't my BAL team buy any useful players

I dont get it. Before i joined man utd they sold vidic, ronaldo, evra and nani. I was kinda pissed cause i really wanted to play with ronaldo. Well now that i play for united they dont buy any good players. They just buy really shity and unknown players. Other teams like bordeaux(they bought gerrard, alonso, villa, sneijder) buy good players but man utd just buys crap players. im in my 6th season and they still play neville in the back. Is this suppose to be like this or can i do something about it.

i dont get it, gerard- the symbol of l.pool transfered to m.united.. how is that possible i offerd torres- not a symbol, the maximum amount of salary and transfer points- and he didnt accept!
