I assume a next generation version will be on PS3/Xbox 360 but will a scaled down version (in terms of graphics) be available for PS2?

I expect so because not everyone will have a next generation console so sales will be down if there is not a PS2 version.

the game is already on date for PS2, but it is not so sure wheter if it is going to come for Xbox360 and ps3, but it problably will.

Lads, Pro Evo 6 will be out on ps2 100% I can assure you. I dont think theres a good chance it will be on the ps3 though.

PES6 will be PS2.
PS3 doesn't launch until end of 2006, so unless Konami are working on a next-gen version as we speak, or are going to do a direct port of PES6 with updated graphics, then i don't think we will see a next-gen PES until PES7.

Why ask questions to which you already know the answer?

PES1 and PES2 were both released on PS1 and PS2. I remember in 2001, PES1 was released first on the PS2 and was then released on the PS1 around 3-6 months later (2002).

The same occurred for PES2.

So in light of this "new" information, PES6 will almost definitely be released on the PS2 first - due to the delays Sony are having in getting the PS3 ready for release.

If the PS3 is indeed released in November, then don't expect to see PES6 (on the PS3) released straight away. My guesses are that we'd have to wait until February 2007 to play PES6 on the PS3.

I'm confident though that PES7 will definitely be on both consoles. I'm guessing that PES7 will be on PS3 before it's released on the PS2.

Konami will have to address the fact that most gamers probably won't purchase the PS3 until the price drops to below £200. So yeah, PES will still be on the PS2 for a couple of years yet.
