any1 no if its possible to select who goes up 4 setplays, on pes5 masters league i had a small guy called shimizu, evry corner he wud be in the area yet i never once saw 1 of my centre bks up there!!!in about 8 seasons neither of my cb's scored!!!hate tht!!!and wots this quick freekik like?my copy shud b here soon!!!cant wait any longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No you can't change the players who go forward and it's always been like this in ISS/WE/PES games.

Quick free kick is quite good, quickly press L1+R1 when the icon is shown on screen and then your player automatically does a short pass towards the nearest player in the direction you select (I think).

can someone tell me if we10 is equivalent to pes6? i:m in japan for a week now before going back to the uk and considering buying it. is it worth it? will it work on my ps2 at home?

ps, played a new arcade winning eleven here last night which is awesome. it is online so your opponents are in arcades all over japan. the game play is amazing for an arcade. but looks like everyone in japan just plays virtua striker!! what is up with that????? VS is rubbish!!!!

It will only work if your PS2 is modded, the region codes are different, on DVDS as well. Where are you in Japan???

You need a chipped or modded PS2 to play import games. More details in this thread:

From the past few games, I seriously doubt there will be major differences as the next PES game is usually about 90%-95% the same as the previous WE. Which is a shame. Looks like the people who moaned about hating WE9 & PES5 as it was so hard made a difference......

personally i didnt mind the difficulty setting just the niggly referee decisions,stop/start all the time,dont think theres too much else wrong with it personally perhaps having more fans in the stadiums but thats nothing to do with the gameplay is it.

Do the full backs still wonder in field whilst playing 4-4-2 formation leaving the flanks somewhat exposed?

Does the quick free kick, also apply for throw-ins and goal kicks?

Are there any worthwhile changes in the master league?

Although in Japanese is there anything new on the stratergy front.

No. Just FKs.

Although in Japanese is there anything new on the stratergy front.

There is a bit, although most of it is just the PES5 options rearranged to different sub-menus. You can save or load any formation from one of the 10 save slots to/from the A and B formations.

Already been answered. They are in the Germany team and not Bayern due to their own personal licences.

Ive been here for six years, Im in okinawa now, which is an island far south of the Mainland. I bounce back and forth between here and Osaka. So what do you think of Japan??? Am I the only one facing this, some sort of bug?

One time I got 3 consecutive rainy matches.

I've tried most of the cup tourneys and it's always raining!

is the AI better?i was happy b4 with there defence capability but in attack, even on 6 star, they were quite pants, not clinical enuff and never seemed to shoot frm distance!!!got mine yesterday, but my modded ps2 aint loaded it!!!so frustrating.lookin into gettin it fixed or gettin a nu 1 tho.cant wait till october!!
