ill definitely b buyin WE8..i just hope i can get it slightly earlier than its release date..cos august 5th ill b in florida far, far away from my beloved pro evo as ive a chipped ps2 i can often get games a few weeks b4 they have cum out..i usually get the WE series each year around may or june at the latest so im gettin impatient 2 get the new 1..as long as its worth the w8

I've never gone through with getting my ps2 chipped cos i think it would kill it for good so i'm just hanging around waiting for pes4. plus i've had pes,pes2 and pes3 so i want to keep my loyalties intact.

For the first time I agree with out German Admin. I will buy WE8 too and no PES4. And also it will be very common that all patches will be released for WE8 and not for PES4 also an advantage if you ask me...

I'm not into Patching, so its PES4 for me. I have a deep mistrust of mod chips, and tampering with consoles in general (thats what sent my PS1 to the grave - RIP), and i prefer playing the English version.

yup exactly why aint got mine chipped...but then again i did give it a good punch (was playin soul calibur ) but yea ima wait till pro4 comes out

unfortunately it seems like i won't be able to play the PAL version seeming as I'm in the US. And since \WE8 is in my NTCS format it will play but i'll just have to play it using the slide card. My options are too many, but i really would like it to pop up on the GC again... here's to wishing :L2:

Im gonna get we8 , but as my ps2 is chipped , i just buy a copy , then when a patched english version comes out ill buy it , then when pes4 comes out ill buy a copy of that , and i will patch it myself , then when we8 international will come out i will buy a copy of that , and i will buy a patch version of it with all the january transfers and kits . All in all , with every we / pes coming out , i spend a total of $ 30 . ( lol , i knw im a winning eleven freak )

man ps1 is old. mod chips are now much much better than way back when. much safer and they dont kill ur PS2 so no worries.
