Worst performance / Embarrasing Moment

Their have been so many different threads now concerning how good we are at PES and how we have got the game down to an art. But like any championship team you will always get your low points. What's your most embarrasing performance in PES3. Did you accidentally put Heskey up front on his own. Did ya tell ya mates "Hey, watch this, nobody can beat me" your mate laughs soon enough as your England team with yourself playing up front cruise to a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of West Ham, only for ya mate to jeer "Ya SHIT, and you know you are!"

Or did you just have a bad day. I findthat on the harder levels if you are not concentrating 100% on the match you are screwed. Or at least the team playing you gets screwed, the scorer literally from behind by his teammates. (after he scores)

Maybe the referee (like he does often) gives a dubious penalty.... When the player fell outside of the box. You know what I mean Right???

So lets hear it....... You got done over by a weaker side. Whats your excuse.

Whilst trying to defend against my friend I had managed to keep him just inside my half when he tried some 45 yard shot. I wrote it off as my keeper would have smothered it. However, as the ball flew across the screen I saw my keeper about 20 yards off his line and still running, and was left speechless as it rolled into the empty goals. I then realised I had accidently had my finger on the triangle button.

I never recovered from the goal and the match ended 1 - 0.

classic cokup and a half that. I've gone through on goal one-on-one with the keeper. Rounded him, only to accidentally thinking that the long pass button was the shoot button. Luckily nobody was watching at the time or listening to the expletives out of my mouth!!

Same this happened to me last night. The shot got deflected past the keeper to fall to Heskey 2m from goal and I pressed O - he crossed it right away from the goal and the defender volleyed it out for a corner by narrowly missing his own goal. A goal then would have been nice!

From Centre, I always pass it back to my keeper. So heres C.Ronaldo who loops the ball back to howard for howard to be asleep! (Well as Good as) The ball loops into the goal after 15 Seconds game time!!! 1-0 F/T! Damn!

Thrashed by United 6 - 0 in my 3* league. I wasn't playing that badly in the first half, just they went ahead by a goal or two and lost my discipline, then i got angry, started sliding in, bookings everywhere (i think about 5 or 6 yellows), players sent off, got murdered on headers into the box. I was not a happy bunny.

Going 2-0 up on Barcelona in the Master League, and then they went down to 10 men. Then they managed to win 3-2 after three late goals - annoyingly their only three shots on goal in the match.

I was quite peeved.

My worst moment in PES3 would have to be Vs my younger brother. First of all he's a shit player, we've played numerous times and he's only beaten me like twice. Anyways... we were playing, I was Liverpool and he was Milan. I was attacking and then he tackles me, he goes a little forward and then he clears the ball up. So I head it out from just outside my area but it falls perfectly on the volley for Rui Costa. From about 40-45 yards out he hits a first time shot and bang in the top right hand corner. That was the best goal I have ever seen in PES. I was lost for words. My brother jumped up and started celebrating, like if he had seen his team score on the tele. He then watches the replay over and over again just to rub it in my face.

So now every single time we play and I score, he always brings that up and says it wasn't better than my goal was it?

My second season in division one - four stars, i wasnt gonna want to do this again so this season i have to win wefa championships (which i did) and division one cup as i got knocked out last season

I hadnt lost a game all season my record was along the lines of 13 won 6 drawn, top of the league - beaten celtic twice already and i drew them in the semis

it was one of those ties couldnt do a thing, drew 0-0 away - LUCKILY and lost 1-0 at home to a crappy diving header thing

wasnt embarassing, but just plain shit - didnt hardly get a shot on goal maybe two in the whole tie

i dunno how i did it but i sucked real bad

so - another ML season for me then?

Mine was against my m8t, he was man u & i was Sociedad, we have played about 100 times together and hes won about 4,anyway 2 the story,lets make this short,I PLAYED CRUD AND HE PLAYED ACE,

on my 5* season I went top of the league with 11 games gone(div 1).Newcastle I'm sure were in the bottom half of the league.I played my next game v them,shearer scored two headers in the first ten minutes(ten min game)by 40 mins I was three two up.Shearer scored another header....and I scored halfway into the second half to turn a nightmare into a wonderful dream!

On my ML with Blackburn, I was in 2nd position i Div. 2 before the last game of the season. I was playing Benfica who were in 3rd place, 1 point behind me, and i would just need a draw to finish 2nd.

So the game starts, and after about 30 mins i lead by 2-0. Thought I was on Easy street and started playing sloppy. It seemed to go alright anyway, until they get a penalty after about 80 mins. 2-1, but I still think that it's all cool, they won't get another, and even if they would, I can afford a draw and I'll qualify anyway.

Right after kickoff, they get posession of the ball, and before i know it they've scored again! 2-2, and the clock is on 85. Now I should get anxious, but dumb old me feels SURE, that they could never get another! Let's be realistic, that just couldn't happen!

The clock ticks on and the game goes into stoppage time, and I'm already thinking of Div. 1, when Benfica crosses a ball into my penalty box. For no reason, i make a sliding tackle instead of a normal steal, and what the hell happens? Penalty on stoppage time! 2-3. And I had to play through another season in Div 2.

WEFA Champs Quarter final on 3*, draw ist leg with Betis 0-0 at home with a 13-0 shot count in my favour. Half-time in the 2nd leg i'm 1-0 up and coasting, 8-0 shots in my favour, Betis can't even get out of their own half.

2nd half, a cross flies in and despite the attentions of Simic my CBT, their striker manages to volley it in from 20 yards out, their only shot on goal so far. That's ok, I think, I'm still up on away goals. 5 mins later a speculative long ball forward from the half-way line reaches their OM with his back to goal, he twists and turns and volleys it first time into the roof of the net from 25 yards out, a spectacular but utterly unfeasible goal and only their 2nd shot in total. "Cheating CPU b'stards" I curse, then switch to all-out attack, grab an 83rd min equaliser with Ballack. Sighs of relief, switch to 5-3-2 and defend like hell, suddenly Betis are playing like a team possessed, then in injury time their MF dribbles into my penalty area, cuts past 5 of my defenders who suddenly have forgotten how to tackle, and knocks it under my keeper from 6 yards. I lose 3-2 on agg despite a 26-3 shot count over the two legs. The controller is hurled across the room and I'm wondering if I lost on my merits (poor finishing etc) or did the CPU just cheat like a b'stard?
