Mysterio is part of the current wrestlers side, not legends.

I don't think this game is aimed at hardcore wrestling fans wanting to see a multi-brand roster. Just a fighting game for anyone to play.

I don't really see what that has to do with anything. Exploded on the WWE scene in 2002 would have been fine.

Ah right, didn't know you were talking about the article, didn't bother reading it. Yeah that is pure shite.

Yeah hope it's like the n64 wrestling games as didn't get a fair crack at no mercy because there was an inherent code error within the game that made it crash but wrestlemania was great from thq.

I don't like how they're flying up in mid air during their finishers though looks unrealistic. But if they get the grappling and counter system right that it will be solid rather than smackdown shit that's out where you just bash buttons.

I heard that there might only be at most 4 wrestlers on screen at one time, which is absolute bollocks if true. Royal Rumble could be good on this but with only 4 in the ring would be pointless.

Just read that Michael Hayes and Mark Henry are DLC. I may get this now.

I remember the Wrestlemania game for the PC back in 1991.

Now that was a proper arcade game ;)

WrestleFest was the best wrestling arcade game.

I must admit, the more I see of All Stars, the less I'm interested.

I might play the demo but I'm not getting it anyway. Hardly any match types (no Rumble for fuck's sake), only 4 men in the ring at once. The over the top gameplay will just get annoying after a while.

Fuck you THQ for yet again not giving what the real fans want.

*dusts off n64*.

I haven't a clue how to string moves together. The most impressive it got was when I jumped off the turnbuckle, only to be caught in a hurricanrana by Rey and go flying upside-down right back into said turnbuckle. Otherwise it's button bashing.

KO feature seems daft.

Having played the demo for a short while, it's genuinely quite a good game, with the potential to be great once the learning curve is down I think. As already said though, it will become tiresome after a while I think, but it'd be good fun if playing with friends I imagine.

Overall I'm actually impressed that something different has been done with a WWE game, and the environment, the graphics, the vibrancy and presentation is generally good, but importantly the gameplay is actually fun...for now.
