  There is so much wrong with your post that I am about to have a heart attack!
;)

Please read the X-Port info thread in the General section.
Then take it forward by asking any questions you have in that thread.

x-ports allow people to swap the game data that can be saved on to Memory Cards - Option Files (modify kits, transfer players, flags, boots); Replays; even Master League teams if you wanted.

Patches are alterations applied a to copy of the original program using editing software on a PC, then copied onto a new disk. You'd need a modified PS2 to play these non-standard disks, either 'chipped' or using a slide card.

Those modifications would also allow you to play imported games from outside your DVD region - Europe. e.g. Winning Eleven 7: International is released in Japan on Feb 19th, I've ordered it from Play Asia and bought a slide-card so that I can play it when it arrives.

X-port is a much cheaper option, but it won't change anything that couldn't be changed from within the Edit Options in the game itself. It would save you days or weeks doing all that work though.

More detail in the threads GFK and Zyg suggest.

That's not really true, you just have to know how ;)
