sorry excuse me if these have already been asked- but im new to the x-port and was wondering
-if it has an OFFICIAL site?
-Or is there a main website where you can get all the downloads?
-And finally how many games does the x-port work with?

the x-port has a site (which i carnt rember off the top of my head) but u can get x-port file off other sites as well, the x-port is a bit of kit that tranfres memory card data, so all game work with it. it mostly used to back up memory card on to a computer (so u get a huge memory card without the cost) and also like in the case of pes 3, u can download a option file to put on your memory card, hope that helps!!

For X-Port stuff, you can check out www.codejunkies.com

www.showusmiracle.com is good for PES & WE related files.

An X-Port will work with any and all PS2 files on your PS2 memory card.

mightybees, you can go to this thread for PES3 option files. The later ones are the better ones. Or you can get some from www.showusmiracle.com

Once you've downloaded the option file, unzip it and copy the .xps file into your X-Port Savedgames folder.
After connecting the PS2 to your PC, run the X-Port software and then you can send the option file to your memory card. It will ask you if you want to overwrite your current option file. If you've done some work on it before, you may want to backup your option file first. Once you've transferred the new file to your mem card, you're ready to play.

You should have received 2 CDs with your X-Port. One with redbox at the bottom is for installing the X-Port program onto your PC.

Connect your PS2 to your PC using the X-Port and the USB cables.

Turn on the PS2 and put in it your X-Port PS2 disk - it says "X-PORT" in big letters and near the bottom in a blue box it says "FOR USE ON EUROPEAN CONSOLE".
Wait for this to load.

Unzip the option file you have downloaded and copy it into your X-Port Savedgames folder. It would be easiest if there is only one PES3 option file in this folder.

Load the PC program for the X-Port software. And then Locate the PES3 Option file in the menu. It should be the one you put in the Savedgames folder. Click on RESTORE and it should send it to your memory card. It will ask you if you want to over-write your current option file. Click YES. (If you did a lot of work on your own option file, make a save of it first).

That should be it.

mattyrozza, to update like you metioned, you need to patch it. Guides for patching your game can be seen in the Editing section.

You need a PS2 that can play imported/patched games either by being chipped or modded. Follow the guide to make a CDrip of your PES3 DVD. Then follow the patching guide to patch your CDrip and then you can play it once you've burned your patched version. If you need any help on these methods, ask in the Editing section and people should be around to help. You can also check out jag87's thread on the various methods you can use to play imported/patched games. Good luck :)
