Is Crackdown any good? What kind of game is it?

I plan on getting - Brian Lara, Virtua Tennis 3 and Champions League, as well as my pre-order of NBA street.

I don't think you can. I'm not renewing until something worth playing online comes out.

Go onto xbox.com, then sign in, then click on my xbox then profile. Once there click billing and contact information, near the bottom of the page there should be something saying "Your Services" click on your xbox live membership and it should come up saying when the end date is.

Somehow my copy of Gears got a small crack on the inside edge of the disc and refuses to play. It seems this is a common problem when I searched the xbox forums and I take good care of my games, so I'm sure it's not down to abuse on my part.

I'm thinking of renting GoW from Blockbuster and exchanging discs.

the same thing has happened to me with rainbow 6 the game works fine but I can't think how there came to be a crack as I have never dropped the disc or mishandled it in any way.

Anyone who's still looking to get a 360 should look on ebay at the moment cos there's some cracking deals going on (I assume people are cashing in before the PS3 comes out). For instance I picked me up the core system with 10 games and 2 wired controllers for £260. 9 out of the 10 games I didn't want so after various sales/exchanges for stuff I did want I've ended up with this (for a total outlay of about £170):

XBOX 360 console
2 Wired Controllers
Gears Of War
Rainbow 6 Vegas
HD Component TV Cable
20 gig hard drive
Ethernet Cable

So I've basically ended up with the premium package (minus the live headset which doesn't bother me at all, and with 2 wired controllers instead of 1 wireless) and 2 top games for £170. Not bad at all, and there's a few other package deals I noticed still up there on ebay so if anyone's thinking about picking one up it's definitely worth a look.

Devil May Cry isn't very good anyway. Ninja Gaiden is where it's at. Although I must say DMC 1 was a classic. I found God of War too easy, though stylish.

Just played the Lost Planet demo, intense stuff. Love it.

You can rip your music to a cd, put the cd into your 360 and transfer it that way, or any music cd's you bought you can put in and it will transfer onto your 360, thats how I did it anyway, saved me £30.

It isn't illegal. Well copying downloaded music is but if you ow the CD you can do as you please.

How do u rip to a cd? can i use windows media player? Is ripping the same as burning? i dont get it.

Ripping the CD is when you attempt to dissect the disc in two pieces.

Burning the CD is pretty much self-explanatory. Light a match, and burn.

oh thats easy. just put the cd into the 360. it should start playing and there will be an option that says "Rip cd". pick it and it rips the songs to the harddrive
