I've been trying frantically with Africa's finest to muster a decent effort to send into a certain Goal of The Month competition.

And I've just realised: I am the dullest PES3 player ever. Surely.

All I know is how to win. Not to entertain. Not to woo the crowd. Just score and win.

I'm finding the game despicably easy to win, how does anyone have any pointers to inject new life into my style o' play?

I'm even dull with four up front for Christ's sake!

switch it up a bit. sometimes methodical play can be oh so drab. when things get a little boring, do the opposite of what you'd usually do. how about taking some outrageous shots from the outside. a little luck on your side and it will soar gracefully in. there are so many moves in this game, i like to play around with the ball. when i feel bored of the old "center and header" move thats so routine, sometimes ill take shots from way out, or ill use a single striker and try and penetrate the defense with some sweet ball handling skills. use the stepovers and close chips, or try using manual passes, anything that's out of the ordinary. i didnt even know up until recently, but someone on the forum mentioned the "up, down" on the right analog performs a overhead flick, and i just used it yesterday to cheekily put it over the keeper 1 on 1. all this talk is making me want to play.

babangida running down the wing, centres a ball which all players run towards, i then do a first time backheel 2my awaiting player and cracks 1 into the top corner, doesnt work everytime but its a beauty when it does go in. Dribbles always set the crown alight aswell as annoys my brother and nothing gives me more satisfaction that creaming 5 of his players then putting a well placed shot past his keeper which is then followed by me dancing around to the old "guinness song" sheer quality football

OK, yesterday I probably scored the best goal of my life. Miccoli does the 360 turn past two defenders, does the up-down flick over the last and then chips the ball FIRST TIME over the advancing Kahn.

However, while I was celebrating my achievement, my mate's loser of a brother came charging in with hats, scarves and flags to celebrate like the twat he is and as he dived upon me the controller was crushed in the melee, and presumably the Start button was pressed. So I have no record of my feat and he, as a result, will be killed.

babangida has got good stats on the game but he was crap for my master league he was just a big pile of juicy beef slaps.

just try and do lots of tricks or you could put the star up which makes you play much better. or you could pass and move a lot and take your time or you could even have a lot of long range shots at the goalkeeper to see what happens anyway good luck .

Babs is good for gaining "yardage", as our U.S friends might put it, but not much else!

he gets tackled all the time doesnt he the best player to buy is pilliniak on a free transfer cos he is a youth player and since ive got him half or most of his stats are on 99 and 98 and stuff like that he is the best on my game now you should buy a youth player they are better than first expected. they are reall y good.
