thanks but about the gameplay on ps3 yeah right thats if the machine ever comes out
lol, he has a point. Just release PES or WE or whatever region free with the PS3 in Europe and i'll be happi(er); assuming you all know the news.
Moving on to the topic, prepare PC PES players because i'm gonna tear you apart online! PS2 vs. PC players is revolutionary for online play.
"We expanded the multiplay much more so if you have four consoles and two players on each console there’s a maximum of eight players for online. Also we decided to have the PC players and the PS2 players play for the first time together online."
It'll be interesting to see how PC users fair upto PS2 players. We know PC users have the advatage in FPS but in PES I bet'll be a different story. Then again people will probably use PC control pads or 360 pads to play. We'll see anyway. I can already see PS2 vs. PC tournaments online.
Some other interesting quotes:
"You aked about Live downloads - this is a little bit difficult issue. Once we have the license and political stuff sorted out we are trying to get the downloadable upgrades on your stats, teams, rosters, whatever. But this is all in our future plans."
So in PES7 we maybe seeing online content being available for download officially, such as transfers, stats, kits etc. once they clear up licences. So we could see official kit updates and recent transfer updates online available for download, and also player stats like Messi and Lennon on PES5 for example could be updated officially by KONAMI, or you could just do it yourself.
"Q: So up until January 1?
Saito: Yes. In a sense. If we’re going to release PES 7 next year during this time, yes it may be one year. But we never agreed that we were going to say that officially. It was kind of misleading and a misunderstanding. What we meant or agreed with Microsoft was this winter or this season for PES 6 – this is exclusive."
More clarification on that 'exclusuivity' deal.
"Q: Can I just expand on that. At E3 when we talked a PS3 version wasn’t even started. Has it started production, and as you said just now does it mean that theoretically we could have Winning Eleven 10 or PES 6 next spring on PS3?
Seabass: That’s no doubt. We already started, and I said in that interview I think that how we work as fair is that we don’t work on one console anymore. We work on the core and then we spread it out – we have this mentality.
So for next year, if the market is there. If the PS3 doesn’t ship this year, and there’s no users, there’s no meaning for us to present PS3. As long as we hear the users voice, and everyone wants it we will consider it. I already am considering that, and probably PS3 will be released, they’ll be good followers and fans. If it’s up to us, we’re going to deliver it."
You heard the man, if you want to see it on PS3, i'm thinking as a launch title more than ever now, then raise your voice! Everyone will be ready for a graphical update by then I imagine, I'm talkin PS2 users.
I think that's enough quotes and you have the link provided by red (thanks).
