This has happened in a lot of footie games and its the fact that they arent up to date. I mean surely konami could have changed everyone round jsut before the release. Surely its not that hard to change. Another classic example of this is cm4, people who own it know wot i mean, well hopefully :D

Yes its rather annoying that transfers are not upto date. But we have the transfer option to sort that out!

I belive it's not just for Konami to change players around, it has to do with licensing issues and it takes a fair while to get everything up to date and approved.

I could be wrong, but this is what I've heard.

Yes. They would do it if they could, but they can't.

In accordance with the FIFPRO licence Konami have to submit the rosters about six months in advance for approval.

Its a pain but its not Konami being lazy.

i heard that too arky, but (sorry to be sarky, arky) but do you think that EA phoned up Roman Abramovich up in April/May and asked him to let them know if he was buying chelsea and all the transfers he was likely to make so the could submit their rosters for Fifa 2004??

no, but Fifa is extremely up to date, probably about 99% up to date. and it came out 7 days after PES 3. i think some konami laziness IS the problem but we should just enjoy the game!!

p.s. all transfers had to be completed by 31st August (transfer window closed in all european leagues) so they had from september 1st until October 1st...ish, a full MONTH, to update 64 TEAMS!!!!!!

do we really believe they couldn't do it?????????

There is probably a very simple answer to this, but how do you make transfers? Do you have to unlock something in the PES-shop such as the 10,000 points option which I can't remember what it's called.

Agreed, PES3 is a great game, but the team and player set ups are shabby beyond belief.

They have a great game that is selling by the truck load, its time for them to put there hand in their pocket and pay FIFA for a fully accredited licence. The correct kits and player name is one of the key reasons why people choose FIFA over PES, shallow I know, but we have all spent time fixing our player info to our spec.

We have paided for a game that is not completed fully to my satisfaction and when they release PES4 i demand that this half arsed editing be fixed.

There is only one item in the shop which costs 10,000 and this is the transfer option. I think it's called 'Free transfers' or something. It's one from the bottom in the shop list. The one for 3,000 is the one which lets you change the formation and line-ups for all teams.
