His name sounds Dutch, but never heard of the guy in real life so he must be one of those players Konami made up.

Reto Ziegler the swiss lad from Tottenham becomes unreal at about 25/26 he becomes an absolute demon at free kicks, very useful to have a left footed player who can bend them as well as he can. Fantastic at LB or SMF. Also Its a bit obvious but Fabregas is possibly my greatest buy. I put him AM and he scores for fun.
Farfan is good as well.

If its your first season on pro and your struggling for goals i reccommend Denneboom. Never heard of him before but for four years he scores goals for fun until, unfortunately, he starts to decline but still comes on when players fatiuge, scored a hattrick vs man u on 5* yesterday.
