Your favourite game ever...?

With the PS3 and new generation graphics and bla bla, it's time to have a look at the past and recall the games which will forever be imprinted in our minds (and please, don't mention PES. Who wouldn't?).

In my case, I loved Wolfenstein and Max Payne especially. Call of Duty was class as was the Commandos series. When it comes to football, the best game I ever played apart from the PES series was CM01/02.

Anyone ready to share some more?

The best game i have ever was Turtle`s In time or something like that..It was for NES.

Ninja Gaiden,Jet Set Radio Future, Age of Empires 2, Rome Total War and Halo 1 & 2 come to mind.

Current favourite is Advance Wars 2, which I can play on my school's computer to get through the shit hours.

A list:
RPG: Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Golden Sun 1 & 2 and The Wind Waker(Zelda).
Racing: Daytona USA, Gran Turismo 3, Burnout 2
Shooters: Halo 1&2, GoldenEye,Perfect Dark and HalfLife and Battlefield2
Strategy: Age of Empires 2, Rome Total War, Warcraft III,RedAlert 2
Action: Ninja Gaiden, San Andreas(GTAIII and VC too), Jet Set Radio Future.

Xenogears,Metroid Prime also have to be mentioned.

Solei (A.K.A Crusaders of Centy) - Sega Megadrive
Was a great game, kind of like Zelda but a great story line.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2
Just a quality game, took me ages to complete it and its one of them games where you can practically do anything and even if you have completed it can still have good fun with.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - PS2
Same as San Andreas really.

Tekken 3 - Playstation (or Ps2, I think)
Great game, best series of that genre.

Metal Gear Solid - Playstation
One of the best storylines EVER. Just a great game, it has everything really. One of the best on the list, easily.

CM Manager 01/02 - PC
Amazing game, is always a good challenge managing a shit team and taking them into the premiership. Im the Jose Mourinho of Championship Manager!

Resident Evil Code Veronica and Jet Set Radio on the Dreamcast were my favourite gaming experiences. I also have very fond memories of ISS 98 on the n64 - a beautiful footie game.

The only game of recent times that has excited me is Resi Evil 4 on Gamecube. That was an incredible exhausting game

CM 01/02 was a legend of a game, better than all the new ones.

Dino Crisis 2, loved this game, played it for months without playing another game, brillient for its time.

PES needs no explination.

Yeh Resi Evil 4 was truly excellent, all you PS2 owners you should not hesitate to get it when it comes out.

the only game that i have ever been able to tune in to and stay tuned into is the pro ev serious.(including iss 98)

but that new mortal combat game looks brilliant.i like the odd spell of the mortal combat series.
