first match on pes5
i thought i would start off with a tough one (me, juventus 1-1 barcelona
tough match barca got the lead in the 23rd min crossed in my guily and met by eto'o head i battled hard to get level but it was until the 89 min trezguet takes one then another nice low hit . hits the post goes in wohooooooo great game
played 3 games online unbeaten woohoo

First game
Pro Evo 5 arrived half an hour or so ago! After doing a silly dance of glee I put the game in and got down to business.... and the result of that was a 5* match with me as Arsenal against Barcelona..... 10 mins game...

And my first impressions? I love it!!! Have to work to keep the ball, can't just charge in with the old foot in tackle and win ball all the time. I also didn't feel that the ref was overstrict(see what I feel about that after a few games) although this did change when Pires would have been through on goal after a foot in tackle! You can see the trailing leg better in some of the foot in tackles as well, which makes it easier to see why you are being penalised for them. I will need to take a look at then manual also, cos I had 3 or 4 shots and all bar one were very wayward lol.... I had Barca hemmed in early in the 2nd half, but my lack of inventiveness meant that I couldn't break them down and I paid for it. This is even more realistic than PES4 where if you had the other team back in their own box for long enough, you were going to score 95% of the time! What can I say? Looking mighty good! A wee Konami Cup club tourny in order with Arsenal next I think and then some editing of team names!
P.S Appears as if the rating system might still be silly, as no-one achieved higher than a 7.0, but will see for sure when someone nets a hat-trick or something.

Ahh, just won 1-0 and van Persie grabbed the winner and got an 8.5 rating! Like the litte explanations as to why players get the man of the match awards as well!

my first match was juve vs RBC (some dutch team) won 2 - 0 super Zlatan got both goals. still not used to it but i like the fluid passing makes it look really real and it feels great when you put a great passing move together, it is every i wanted it to be, the editer is the best ever!

my 1st game was Liverpool vs feynoord. I was struggling to score in my first game. cisse in particular being very wasteful. then up stepped gerrard before half time a ball into feet from carragher, gerrard just in the opposition half. a smart turn taking me away from the defender and a powersful, surging run towards the goal. the defense was backing off so i thought ''have a go'' so i did and it flew in. If i remember correctly it went in the top corner,i think. It stayed at 1 nil. I also haved that goal...My special 1st goal on PES5. Now i cant score to save my life. Must have being a lucky goal, but good skill!!!
