This is my second season in what must be my tenth master league, I'm putting together a team which is realistic and not amazing, as even with this team I've not lost a game all season and I'm top of the league. Hopefully PES4 will be more challenging.

Opposition with diamond 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 Defensive : As above, but with my DMF on normal marking on the opposition's OMF.

Opposition with 4-3-3 : One CB agressive marking CF, other on Covering. SB's normal marking on Wing Forwards. DMF normal marking OMF. Depending on how far forward the oppositions SMF's go, I sometimes sacrifice my wingers arrows to default setting in order to have extra men comeing back if necessary.

I don't tend to come across any other formation than those when playing against the CPU or humans. Usually does the trick for me, as long as I control my defense well, and time tackles correctly, otherwise all this tactical stuff is useless! :eek:

Hello all you pes-fans out there!! I'm from denmark and have been playing pes for years! I simply love that game! If it's too easy, then try to play at 5 stars difficulty! (i don't know if you do allready, but i sertainly doo!) My formation is like this with Tottenham:

4-4-2 (Diamond on the midfield)

(savage is playing dmf and yakin is playing omf)

I usually play a 4-2-2-2 Usually for counter attacking!

Four at the back, two defensive mids, two very attackive mids and two upfront.

Its great when you retrieve the ball in your box because you usually have drawn in most of the other team and then there are plenty of people across the field to pass to unmarked!

All the attack arrows are set forward on all the OMF's/SMF & CF's. The team bias is set to attack as well.

I wish I could get a photo of my Master League's team stats as well, because they're pretty much all full. Teamwork and defense are where the only flaws are.

It is depending of the team. With PES3 I always played with the Netherlands and then my formation was 3-3-4, with two wingers who are on the side-line and an attacking centre midfielder.

In WE8 I'm playing with Feyenoord and I can notice that the players are not so good, so I had to change my formation into 4-3-3 with an attacking centre midfielder. But now I change it into 3-4-3 with a diamond on the midfield.
