Youth Teams in Master League

I've seen this mentioned in one or two other threads but I wanted to devote a thread to this specific subject. If a youth team was incorporated into the Master League in PES 2009 or 2010, do you think it would improve the realism? I certainly do - as long as you didn't have to deal with it every single week, you could choose to scout internationally and give yourself a chance of getting the world's biggest youth talents or scout within your league's country and ensure that you don't miss any prodigies right under your nose. Maybe you could choose how much money to put into it, and bring in players when you feel they're ready, rather than when they're 17 by default. And perhaps incorporate the issue of tying them to a long-term contract? Obviously the players would be made up, but I think it would be a fantastic addition.

I definetely agree, although it will take up a massive amount of space I imagine if every team were to have a youth team. I wouldn't really mind if the only youth team on the game is for your team, as it's simply another option to bring in players, especially on the cheap.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect they'd be able to give more than one club a youth team...I'm happy to be the only one with it, though.

The argentinian and brazilian leagues are like youth leagues as its pretty common to be playing at the age of 16-17 there, i.e. Aguero was playing in the league when he was 16.....

Seeing as most of the exciting up and coming players play in those leagues, I think Konami should make an effort to add them.

True, you do get lots of exciting young players from there at the moment, but Konami only seem to concern themselves with the European leagues. To be fair, the South American leagues' standard of player are surely not as high in general, other than the young ones.

I think its less physical, but teams such as River Plate, Boca Juniors, Sao Paulo etc are good enough to go head to head with the big european clubs...

I think it would also be fun for for konami to add another football culture to the game, i.e. argentina's slow build up to a fast attack etc...

I would agree on the big clubs being every bit as good as many of Europe's best, but other than them, it's just not quite the same quality. And I don't know how easy it would be to implement different footballing cultures into the way teams play - maybe it could influence the kind of youth players that come out of those countries?
