Zenden Goal - To be or not to be?

I was playing PES3 on 5* as France against Holland and Zenden took this shot at my goal.

Rame saved it with his fingertips (well, kinda) and the ball goes out of the danger area.

My question:- Would the ball have gone into the goal if he hadn't tipped it away or would it have missed?

Patched game but using an option file with edited kits as the player stats are all default.

The reason I asked it that I'm not too sure about it. Seems to be curling out so.....

it seemed to be curling out which i why I thought it would hit the post before going in.

if you look closely though... u will see it initially curling to the right away from goal... but as it goes closer to the keeper, it actually begins curling back towards the goal, hence why it wont hit the post.

Yeah, I suppose. I just looked at it again and now I think it'd just clip the post ever so slightly and fly across the side netting.

BTW how did you shoot like that, just a normal shot?because they usually curve the opposite way...

I reckon a goal without hitting the post. I scored one against a mate last week. Zyg, was this a shot? It was meant to be a cross when I scored. The only thing similar which I think is the telling factor is the position of the player and ball at the start of the cross. Next time you are in a similar postion cross it (just once on the circle). The ball is bouncing (which is vital) and the player is directly facing across the pitch. Normally it goes towards goal rather than near a player for a header as you have shown in your vid. Let us know if it does it again

definitely a goal but the debate is whether off the post or not...

does it really matters??
