Wth is wrong with u people and striped kits?? Do you wank urself on striped kits or what? Damn........

There are a lot of English teams with striped kits/hoops over here and it just seems amazing than Konami have neglected to include them in the editor.

It's like having a certain colour !! because it's such a simple little thing but is absolutely crucial for getting kits correct. Can you imagine no red colour , what about Man Utd or Arsenal or Liverpool !!! I feel for any stripey kit fans as it is really poor.
I don't see why Konami have bothered to include a sponsor editor (which is ace but poss not vital ) and miss out on a simple kit templte !!

it does seem that konami are focusing on the european clubs this year(not that i don't have a problem with this as i support real madrid)

Good review - shame about the kits...but eventually...I think it can be easily fixed via Option File or patch. I'll be thinking of a Max-drive for sure - only 9.99? Wow...all the time I spent editing...go for it guys!! USB and straight in I believe!!!

I'm new here so excuse my ignorance. I'm gutted about the non-stripey kit thing and was considereing getting one of these Max Game things or whatever they are. But is there actually a file to add stripes to edit mode? How easy is it to load this onto a computer and onto a PS2 and is it then retained on a normal memory card or do you have to have the computer connected every time.

Can't wait for the game but am a little confused on this. Cheers

Hi there. You can't add striped kits to the game unless you patch it. Patching is explained in the sticky threads in the General Editing section and involves burning a patched image of your game to run on a chipped/modded PS2. Otherwise you'll have to make do with whatever can be created in Edit mode or using a PC option file editing program (which can't add stripes).

X-Port needs to connect your PC and PS2 for about 5 minutes while you transfer the files you want. Max Drive is wireless so you just pop it into the USB slots and transfer away. Transferring files using X-Port and Max Drive is quite simple and if the manual doesn't explain it, people on here can always help.

Thanks very much. I think I'll forget the stripes and have my Brighton & Hove Albion boys whip the rest in a classic '80s blue kit instead and concentrate on the playing the game.

Right.

So you can't make striped kits in the editor thing but do Celtic, Southampton etc come with striped kit to begin with or what?
