Cellini I agree with you about the PS3 version. A lot of people on other forums seem to think the PS3 version will be better due to Blu-Ray and some sort of deal between Sony & Konami. To be honest it all sounds like Bullshit to me.

i cant believe people still think that there be a difference, there must be a lot of 10 year olds on this site coz they sure believe anything they read, i highly doubt konami will make the 360 inferior, its just common sense

How can you be so sure? Are you a Konami official? No. Your rebuttal is rejected. Unless you got solid proof then keep ur wiped anus shut. I don't see the point of arguing on this subject since no one has proof yet. Lets just hope both are as good.

PES 2008 Photoshoot Completed This Week
We have received word that Konami completed the photoshoot for PES 2008 this week. The big question of course being who was in it? One player? Two Players? Adriano, Terry or Henry? Considering Henry was in the beautiful Catalunia sunshine this week sealing his move to Barcelona it looks unlikely he was the main cover player. Thus it is more likely to be Terry or Adriano.

We have been hearing a lot of views over the week about who people would like to see on the cover of this game. Some of the names frequently mentioned include Gerrard, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Eto'o. Unfortunately, out of that list Cristiano is highly unlikely as he was the cover of Fifa Street 2, an EA Sports game meaning he is still possibly under contract with him. The rest though could all be a possibility along with Adriano and Terry.

exactly,no proof either way,id be enclined to follow the crowd who say it would be the same as if nothing was ever rumoured on forums this is what everybody would think.id hate messi to be on the cover!!cant stand him,hes a massive diving handballing cheat with moments of brillance that are spoiled by these moments. i like ronaldo the legend striker.prolly be terry again tho,dunno bout adriano i think aftre this season people have realised he is an overrated player.he scored like 6 goals this season:/ n inter tried swapping shevchenko for him

I personally think that konami (for once) will go fullout with this version of pes. Pes6 for 360 simply wasnt good enough atall. I just think that was thrown together with a mix of ps2 version and a few new features. Think about it, they want to be better than fifa. imo non of these games have seen the best on next gen. i bought fifa 07 for my 360 as i already had pes6 on ps2, and believe me , i regretted it. I then swapped my fifa for pes6 , which is much better , but still wasnt the pes i loved.

I think that there will be almost fully licensed leagues. imo the licensed leagues will be: Premiership, LFP, the french one, La Championette (or whatever it called), Serie A, Endrivise, Bundesliga. also there will be more internationals , but not all , just the major teams as usual.

I also look forward to some new player models. On 360 they are horrible.

Overall , what i am trying to say is that i think PES08 will be 10x better than current pes6 for 360/ps3. They will want to get ahead of fifa and will pull out all the stops to do so.

anyway, just my opinion. i hope i am correct

I have a feeling Cristiano Ronaldo will be on the cover. A picture (seems like a painting actually) of him in a cover of some asian magazine... Magazines usually don't use random players for PES articles. The picture was probably suplied by konami themselves.

i dont get pissed off at the fact its a possibility people get pissed of at the fact its rumours and everybody brings them up every two seconds with no real evidence what so ever.

I'd like to see a less-homoerotic cover. Adriano looks he's undressing me with his eyes, while Terry's "melancholic depth' look isnt doing any favours for him.

And I think C.Ronaldo has a deal with EA about Fifa Street 2.
