As an Arsenal fan this video hurts my eyes!! ;o)
The overall video look great, I think. But I still think that the players doesn't move as smoothe as I've hoped they would. That alone seems to be one of the major problems that makes me prefer PES instead of FIFA. PES just seems smoother in the way the players move, pass the ball etc.
I'm not thrash-talking FIFA here - 'cause I really want FIFA to succeed! I like the whole full license thing FIFA has, and envy them at that. I'm from Denmark and a fan of our local team - OB, Odense. I would just love to play seasons with them (to prove their current coach wrong in the players he pick week in and out! ;o) ).
But it doesn't play as big a factor as gameplay when it comes to what game I'm going to buy.
I personally think that FIFA has gotten better, thankfully, but somehow I just keep falling back to PES, because it just plays better somehow!?! I can't pinpoint it 100% - it just feels more real, fluid and intuitive…?
Some nice touches in the Arsenal-Chelsea video though:
Anyone noticed the def. - off. bar-regulator at about 1.45 into the movie? It's a bit PES'ish but then again different. Welcoming change.
Then there's a pass that hits the ref. and stops an attack, at about 5,15!! Nice little touch!
Throughout the entire video there are numerous examples of the new play physics / collision. I especially liked the ones at about 7,40-7,45 where the keeper hit a player when struggling for a cross. And again there is a great sequense from 8,16 - 8,27 (starting with a shoulderchallenge by Cole to the struggle for the clearing shot). All very nice indeed!
But still. I think overall that it doesn't seem as fluid as PES is? I'll wait for a judgement untill the full version of both games are out.
I just hope both games are great!
