all ive noticed is 2 new boots.i think other spanish teams have been licensed but the only one i would ever use that wasnt originally licensed would be ath madrid and they dont seem to be.

Have not noticed one thing since this update! Well don't care about boots, but online service is down! So can't check that out! Knowing Konami they have f-all anyway! Joke of a company!

Shevchenko is still at Chelsea, as is Pizzaro. Berbatov is still at Spurs. And there are no new additions to the Manchester United squad, namely no Rodrigo Possebon, nor either Rafael Da Silva or Fabio Da Silva.

I had no option file on the game so there should have been no problems. The update downloaded and installed upon start up, but there are simply no changes to the (out of date) rosters of the reigning England League, and European Champions, nor the runners-up.

Slighty off topic but I bought PES 2009 for my son on PS2, he is just getting into football & I don't want him hogging the xbox all the time. All the squad lists on there seem to be up to date i.e. Berbatov, fabio. raphael & possebon all at Utd. Ronaldihno, shevchenko at AC Milan.

This is straight out of the box with no option file or editing by myself.

Does anyone know of ANY changes the update makes? Some people are claiming MAn Utd have Da Silva twins etc but nothing on xbox version, not even Eidur Gudjohnsen. What a load of bollocks.

Maybe it only works with default option file? Any ideas?

WOW! I just found the 'download' bit in System Settings - now we can download the intro movie - yippee f***king doo!

I've given up on this years PES for now.

The Xbox update isn't out yet, it is always slower than PS3, i expect it to be out by tonight though mate, don't worry.

And yes the Da Dilva twins are at United.

i ve downloaded the update and installed it but my game cant load. it freezes at loading with the stars in the beginning after the PLAYSTATION 3 logo! any help?

Earlier it wasn't doing anything but then I got the 'An update is available form XBOX Live' when starting the game - i downloaded it but naff all has happened.

Is it possible that was just a little update to prepare for big one later? You know more than i do anyway!

(Xbox) I just tried game without loading my data but the defualt hasn't been updated either. I guess whatever we're all downloading isn't the update, hopefully it'll be out later. Even KONAMI aren't this dumb, are they? Probably.

EDIT: well i did smth, i ve deleted the install file and now im installing the game again...

For everyone complaining that there are no changes

You must go to system settings (in-game) and go to 'download'. Once that has downloaded the changes then take place.

To follow up on my earlier post - I had to go to SYSTEM SETTINGS > DOWNLOAD to get the update that fixes rosters, kits, etc. This is after the automatic upgrade to 1.20 that one is prompted to accept upon firing up PES 2009.

I, like others I assume, expected the initial upgrade to 1.20 to install with this update, but it does not. So after upgrading to 1.20 go to SYSTEM SETTINGS > DOWNLOAD to receive the update. There is a choice of P2P download or HTTP download direct from the server. The latter was faster for me, by a mile. But I suspect P2P will speed up later in the day once people are back from work and the schools get out.

Berbatov, Wellbeck, Rafael, Possebon, etc, are all present at United. Shevchenko is at AC Milan. Di Santo is in the Chelsea squad. And so on and so forth.

Apologies for my earlier misleading entry, lads.

(This is for the PS3.)

when i power up my ps3 with pro evo 2009 in the console its says update 1.20 ive installed the update then when i try and load game up it freezes on the stars afta the ps3 logo comes up i had to delete the install file and install again is there any otha way i can get this update 1.20 .... plz
