Firstly, fab patch work!
I'm using 1.30 and it's working. However, some teams have 'reset'. I love this patch mainly cos i really enjoyed using the "Carlsberg" and "Future's Bright" teams but these have gone with 1.30. These teams now still have kits etc but squads have been messed up/players removed. It might mean I need to consider other patches now, as much as I don't want to.
There are also some duplicates.
Are you likely to release a version fully compatible with 1.30?

i juz formated my pc and now mine is not working though. ..it was working b4 but now im having the same msg that LOAD DATA FAILED..........hope sammy can rply thiz msg????? but when i use kowalski's OF 1.1 itz wrk fine...but somehow 1.2 OF having the same error.........aaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!! pls sammy whatz wrong with thiz OF y i cant simply use it as OF 1.1... i know thiz doesn't work with 1.1 but itz not working with 1.2 eaither...y thiz msg popping up again and again that load data failed????...pls help. thnx

Cheers. It's something I'm considering. Basically, I'm very happy with my option file as it is, and I'm not sure how much I will gain from updating to 1.30, especially as it might have knock-on effects for my master league saved game.
I probably will take the plunge and update my game sometime soon, but right now I'm going through a formal observation at school (I'm training to be a teacher), and won't have enough time to do the update justice, as I'm not quite sure the scale of work it would entail.
I'm glad you've enjoyed my file this far, so keep an eye-out for any updates (I may even get one done by next weekend). As of yet, I haven't seen any particularly good PC files for the 1.3 version, so I might well have to fix that!
No need for that kind of attitude. Had you looked properly at the team within the game, you would see that Pato is in the squad, just not in the starting line-up, as I feel that Aguerro and Benzema are currently better players. Obviously that's down to personal opinion, but it's so easy for you to make that change in game
The option file is compatible with the 1.2 version of the game. If you are using a different version you will get that message
That post was a little confusing. This option file works perfectly fine with version 1.2. I'm assuming, as you are getting a "load failed" message, that you either didn't fully update to 1.2, or you accidentally over-updated to version 1.3. At the moment my file is only compatible with the 1.2 version, but keep an eye-out as I probably will make it for 1.3 as well

Well mate thnx for reply anyway i ll try to uninstall it and install it again...then ll update to patch 1.2 and then ll use ur OF...hope it ll work again...sorry for confusing post cz my english is not that gud though....gud work and best of luck for the 1.3 patch...u doing great

Download patch 1.20 manually from gamershell.com or another website. If this OF still doesn't work download the 1.20 cv0f.img file from here:

Copy this file to your documents and settings/all users/application data/konami/pro evolution soccer 2009/download directory.
Never use the ingame download function because this will make the game incompatible with this fantastic Option File.

Maybe some of you might not like to hear this, but I'm considering not to download the official patch 1.3 from Konami, since this OF has got already almost everything that we need to have an actualized DB for the game... I think it might just not be worth it, what do you guys think??

You could try using a program like PES Editor or Pro Evo Editing Studio to try and import those teams
I know what you mean, I'm sort of thinking the same thing. I made this option file because I wanted to use an option file I was happy with, so I could have an accurate and enjoyable master league. I added it on this site, as I thought other people would appreciate using it as well, but essentially I was making the option file for myself. I feel very happy with how it is at the moment, so I'm not sure whether it's worth all the extra effort just for a few stat changes.
It would be interesting to hear some more opinions, with reasons, maybe trying to persuade me why the installing the new update is worth it (other than just, you have that version and want me to make an option file for it!)

i've downloaded the 1.2 version (the one u gave link to us) and install it... then there is no 'download' in the system setting...what's going on? also it says i am in 'different version' so can't load the files

hey mate i was making the same mitake as well....acctually u need to install the official patch 1.2 first....and then apply sammy's OF ...and u ll b able to see the download option in (system setting)....and yeah make sure u r using the orginal pes CD not the pirated one cz u wont see the download option on pirated instald PES...so remember first install the patch and then go inside the game and download the update from download option in the system setting and then exit the game and use the sammy's OF and it will work surely...i did the same and mine is working great...anyway i didn't use any CV0f file i juz installed the patch in game update and then applied OF and itz working fine.
Somehow i cant connect to online sever and have not managed to play even a once...the msg is [UNABLE TO CONNECT SEVER FOR NETWORK CONNECTION TEST. THE SERVER MAYBE TO BUSSY FOR MAINTENANCE OR A FIREWALL OR ROUTER MAY BE RESTRICTING ACCECSS]...anyway i hav disable my firewall and im not using any router as well still getting the same msg again and again....is there anybody knows whatz wrong with my game??....im using 1.4MB broadband connection itz a fixd line connection which seems to be ok cz my call of duty works fine but not PES...... pls help?
