Great Patch!
It's really fun agian to play Pes09 now.
I noticed few things, frist there is a problem with the referee, allmost every foul is a red card! wired.. dont know if you changed something, or if you can roll it back..
few bugs with "Stamford Brigde" stadium, the player who lift the corners is unvisable, some wired graphics bugs when the game is running...
btw if you looking for a good site the follow and daily update transfers, look in Wikipedia for "List Football Transfers Summer 2009", there is lists for England League, seria A .. and more..

"Free Agent" set
First of all, I appreciate your great efforts to make the patches, updates, and discussions.
I also noticed the "add player" function (registering players) does not work for clubs after the "Liga de Quito" in World Clubs A and most of them in World clubs B (e.g., FC Copenhagen, LA Galaxy, FC Seoul, Colo Colo, etc.).
When I tried to do that, the game crashed.
After observing a set of extended/created/edited/unlocked players under the "Free agent" section, it looks like this set contains huge selection of newly created players appeared in the above mentioned clubs as well as classic hidden players.
Is this a problem related to this free agent set?
I guess all the players in those clubs are from this Free agent set.
Additionally, I'm also wondering why the value of the classic hidden players in ML is nothing but 2 PTS.
Some other created players also appeared in the "Free Agent" have different and higher values than the classic ones.
I am so confusing with this huge "Free Agent" set suspicious to create a player registration and ML hidden classic player problems.
Please let me know your opinion.

Great patch, however a lot of the team badges are wrong for me, for example the Bundesliga teams have the Eredivisie badges, have I done something wrong?
something is not right in the installation, probably the OF (edit.bin) not copied in the right place.
this could happen only if you started the BAL before installing the patch, you will notice a lot of other strange things in this case.
no nothing was touched in the referee, should be your pure luck
i know that thing about SBridge, this is the best quality i available, in the old patch we used another version of this stadium but this one looks really great, i donno about any graphic bugs thou.
for transfers we double cross 3 sites for that, one of them is wikipedia. (they missed a couple of transfers)
players in free agent in ML or BAL shouldn't be in clubs, the 2pts for some players is a pain in the ace, that is because we have added more than 600 new players to the game (biggest number ever), and hexing the file was really difficult, as a result we couldn't modify the 2pts thing, still trying to include a fix for that in the 1.6.1
overall, this is the biggest patch in everything, bigger than all our previous ones, there is stability issues caused by limitation of the game it self, the 1.6.1 will make it better and stable.
teams are now treated as licensed ones, cant change them unless u use utilities for editing, search PESgaming for them.
CHANGE LOG 1.6.1 (so far):
- Updated transfers.
- Fixed a lot of crashes.
- Replaced two duplicated players.
- Fixed bundesliga menu flag in league mode.
- D1 cup instead of FA cup in ML and BAL modes.
- Corrected some other in-ML competetion names.
- Fixed Banners link file (unnamed_9.bin).
- Faster game loading.
- Fixed some players states.
- Fixed defected noise in one of bayern chants.

National Flags

I want oryginal national flags instead of that $@%@%###@##$! federation %@#$@#%^ emblems its the most stupid Idea Iw seen! now Im lost when Im seeking of some national team! It this is not possible to change then I will search for other patches like EVOLUTION because I want normal gameplay instead of being lost on things like " Where is that national team?!!!!"

If I will wanna know what emblem is for any country I will search in INTERNET ! In game I want know what nationality player is not his football federation EMBLEM !!!!!!!! JIZAS its so stupid and annoying !!!!!!!!!

I for one prefer the emblems because they look better than the flags. It's not that hard to know which emblem is for which country. If you want flags you can put them in yourself so stop acting like a petulant child.
Anyway here are some bigs I have come across:
1) Celtic Park. When I played a game there once the grass was solid black but you could still see the lines. Only happened once so maybe it depends on the weather
2) Forgot which stadium it was, but the adboards were reflected on the ground like it was water.

I've just installed your patch again and it works fine - but just one problem. The promoted teams still have the old logos from the team they are replacing (e.g. Montpellier have Nantes logo).
I haven't had a problem with this in the Premiership menu - but the rest seem to follow this problem. How can I solve it?

Flags are realistic and emblems dont just fit in games like this.
Emblems is stupid idea which I never seen in any football game.
Changing graphic to playstation pad is another weird thing. I have xbox pad so it was good in oryginal pes09
anybody know how to remove this 2 things?
or what file to delete to make flags back again and xbox pad.
Pad is not important for me as flags.

Hey, yes just delete unnamed_9 from cv02, the update is coming soon it will fix that file, deleting it will only affect the banners but it will get u going for now
That was decided since the 1.4, almost all users voted for the federations emblems instead of flags, I like flags better too, but ppl had spoken, be awar that there are more that 2500 users, it's not my call anymore
If u mean edit the ML it self no it's not possible after starting it, it have like it's own database integrated with the save, so when started it can't be edited.
No my friend, if there is something wrong with emblems it means something is wrong with install, something was not copied correctly I think

i have the same problem at the moment,but have already deleted the file you suggested and this problem has still occurred.
if there isnt a way to fix it then i dont mind wiating on the update,great patch otherwise,well done.

I dont want that crapy federation emblems its confusing me because when I want to know what nationality is of player I just cant gues or LEARN that. If 90% of people are dumb it doesn't means that I must suffer from this.
If there is no cure for that dumb emblems cause then I will try other patches changing things maybe better way.
oh.. in first place it was not wise to touch flags anyway lol and now kids like more colors compared to few colors in normal flags and they like that %@#$#$@# emblems
It is so hard to put 2 files for flags and emblems then user will choose which one they like..... its so simple. extra F%#$@#$ 10-20mb will not hurt anybody for $#@%^ sake... dude really c'mon.....
And who DESTROYED Henry !!! in original pes 09 he was looking very nice and close to real life but now in this patch he looks like strange person!!! its major F.... up. He looks TRAGIC!!

And files with flags/emblems have about 2-3mb so its not hard to add files witch normal flags and put it in separate folder and writing in readme file that it can be chosen which type of flag player prefer. Its so simple but someone didnt think about that simple #@%##@ thing

Yes they will not be there, however best south American classics (maradona, pele,...) are in super America and best europian classics are in super Europe, other classics are moved to master league hide players.

I was wondering if you can add Nacional (Club Nacional de Football), it is one of the greatest teams at its epoch, when it won three International Cups, and it's a little bit surprising for me that its rival, which is Peñarol, is there, but not its Uruguayan counterpart. I could give you only the kit it has at the moment and its logo, but I couldn't give you anymore, as I'm not very fond of knowing the team itself.

Hey, this is a great patch, I've loved playing PES with it. I played for a little bit then I used the champions league pack and I have a question:
Is there any way to get ligue 1 back in the game? Or can I change logos in the ML? I ask because I always set the leagues to their proper teams ie Barclays has the english teams, Serie A has italian, etc. Can we change the logos back ourselves? How do we do that?
I want to change the champions league back to Serie A, and probably change Euro league to Bundeslega and use Premiere 2 as the place to put my champions league teams.
And just a quick check: there's no way to make the leagues bigger/smaller or use less teams than the 20 right? ... Bundeslega is only 18 teams
