Gamespot were told by Konami that there would be no 360 movement this year, after they played the 1st build on july 15th

Maybe they changed their mind or where just hiding the idea, I dont know why though, maybe its tied in with something else.

There is nothing wrong with waiting for a better source for this news, because having no 360 in your 50% test build does seem odd, i didnt know it was something you could just throw in whenever.

Lets just wait for the best from Konami! This may be my last PES installment or a new beginning!

i highly doubt this is true, surly this would have been publicised by now if it were!.........lets just wait for something offical to come out, case closed!

Lol, Im totally intrigued as to how 3 weeks ago Konami can tell Gamespot there is no 360 movement, then in the behind the scenes video, after that you can clearly see 8 directional movement in the background and that was a few weeks ago.

But certain "Sources" say Konami have been rigorously testing 360 movement for ages.

I mean, im not deny something great is about to happen, just dont know why everyone is so sure its 360, it could be something even bigger than that, like a new engine which allows 360 and much more etc, I just dont believe all this hype is for something that already exists in another game.

There is other news that is JUST as big as the 360 dirblle ( for some people )

He was right with previous announcements.

I'm not sure but I don't think he knows what the "other" news is, he's just been told it will also be quite big. But I assume he has been told 360 degree movement is in - and obviously he can't mention who told him as they're held under NDA contract. If Konami find out who's potentially leaking, then they'll obviously get the sack. For that reason it must remain somewhat secretive in terms of the person's identity etc.

Let's all just chill, relax, kick back and wait and see because even if it isn't 360 movement, we could still get other really positive news.

Glad all the pes fans are so excited about 360 movement, when fifa had it...

Next min you got pes fans praying that the idea will be in PES, it is hilarious i gotta say.

Its the double standards, i gotta say, when news of this broke on fifa forum, they were actually happy and thought it was good for gaming as a whole, which is actually a pretty mature response rather than "the idea isnt all that when its in the other game".

So you wont hear me downgrading the idea of 360 just because pes has it.

The major news could be a new engine, or downloadable content, where you can download teams, etc, there is online ML this year i think so it might be something like that.

^Hey I still have my doubts. I never said it would work. I never mentioned it's the best thing. For me 360 movement is great but not as much as responsivness + real gameplay (if animations are great, then 8 movements will seem to be more) and PLAYER INDIVIDUALITY because they define a football game mostly. I knwo 360 movement will make it more real, and it is highly needed but not as much as those 3 FOR ME AT LEAST.

You keep pressing proevofan88 for more news, when he clearly in his first response stated, that he has told us everything he knows...
I for one would really love for his news to be true - but I seriously don't want to believe untill we've heard it from Konami or gametesters.

And yes! 360 is huge news! It was gigantic when FIFA annonced it (in my book, at least). FIFA09 felt like it had more than 8 directions because of the superb animations (especially when two players ran shoulder to shoulder for the ball!!) and because of the fantastic manual passing and shooting (which I personally believe a whole lot of gamers on this forum seriously underestimate and really haven't tried - since they say, that FIFA is the same as always.). Honestly! The feel in FIFA with its manual control setup makes it a whole other game. Hard and difficult as hell - but great!
So if FIFA09 could feel as if it had more than 8 direction movement - and work so well as it does - then I can only imagine how awsome the '10-installment with 360 would be. The 360 inclusion would almost make it a 100% must-buy alone - eventhough it's a FIFA game! ;o)
So yes! When/if Konami tells us that PES10 includes 360 movement and has tuned up their manual passing - I personally don't think, that FIFA has got so much over PES anymore, other than the usual licenses.

All in all I'm really just looking forward to a year, that seems like, the footballfans are getting spoiled as gamers, as it looks like there will be released two imensely great games this year! OH WHAT JOY! ;O)
