Just played a competition, absolute joke. Played 5 people all madrid. Never again, such a shame there are so many players that only choose real or barca.
Funny, there also normally the gobby idiots who think there something special.

Spot on there. Much more fun playing as a 'smaller' team. Far more challenging and far more rewarding, especially when you win against Real or Barca.

Well in that case I see your point... and it got me thinking it would be cool if there was an option online like only lower league teams or something available if you choose that option.
It is frustrating, Messi/ronaldo ares untouchable sometimes. try suggesting smaller teams when youve set a game up - I did it last week and got a villa v spurs game, they might refuse but you can ask. ive noticed a lot of rooms cropping up recently 'small teams only' which is a sign people starting to get bored.
Also try playing as chelsea - got great defense (terry, carvalho) and also good midfielders who can defend - Ballack etc. Even then you tend to defend a lot and have to play on counter but when you get that late winner against them - heaven.

The game isn't tailored towards, helping smaller teams beat Barca or Real! So NOBS always choose Barca or Real and always win beacause, they'll get Messi, Ibrahimovic, Van Nistelrooy, Kaka and Ronaldo on the ball, and it's impossible to tackle them. You press X or Square, and could have 3-4 players around Van Nistelrooy yet he still has the ball and has enuff strength to battle 3-4 people off! It's unrelaistic! That has been the biggest gripe for me in PES2010 this year, the inability to tackle!

Yeah i do that. But still get morons choosing Real, even when the room is called NO REAL OR BARCA!
Konami need to add an option so that you can disable teams when you control a room or have the option to leave a game at the team choosing stage if they persist in choosing Real or Barca.

Ya Go F off!!! Seriously ! its annoying and boring! THe thing is ,. you could make a room that says "NO BARCA/REAL, small teams only" but you cant filter out the teams so once they come in and pick Real or Barca you cant kick them out and you're stuck playing them anyway! LAME!

i played one of theese littel fuckers the other night.after setting up a room and asking if he didnt mind not playing as one of the top teams he picked lazio then with seconds to go changed back to barca...i will never play as good again as i did in that game final score spartak moscow 1 barca 0 it could have been more but i refuse to score by using the cut back goal its too cheap

I find it difficult to slag these people off. I do agree that they choose the cheap option, but lets face it, if you work at it, you can beat them. I used to be Man City on PES2009 using a 4-5-1 and was quite comfortable getting wins providing there was no lag. Solution- perhaps Konami could put an exit option for online use when these people show their faces with Barca, Real etc etc......

I played about 15 games over the weekend and lost about 5 - and they were all to Real Madrid. I thought s*d it Ill try and play as Madrid, and won easily but was it enjoyable - no. I felt like I had cheated as I had such a clear advantage over the other player, every shot by ronaldo either goes in or at worst hits the bar.

what im doing now is whenever I run into one of these little losers I just pick the other super team. If they pick Barca, I'll be Real, if they pick Real, I'll be Barca.... Playing with an even field makes it fun.... HAHA!!! Barca is a joke though, super super team, fast, perfect passing, shooting out of this world and Pujol plays like Cannavaro from the last WC but on steroids! LOL! I much rather play a good game of regular teams but I got tired of getting screwed with these super teams!
