I dropped gallas out of my team first season. he is good but is unhappy if i bench him for 1 game. It leaves no development for my other players. Plus he is already old so I sold him to barca for a great price.

Vermaelen has not been good for me. His conditioning is great but his stats are not great compared to senderos who has a few more years to grow. I am waiting for a good player to come out of my youth team for the cb position. Silvestre is a good team player. His stats are good and he doesnt complain for being on the bench for the whole season. I can use him after international breaks.

Libermann is good, but his stamina is terrible

In 4th season at the moment, and he's at 90. That's from sending him on a few loans, and playing games off the bench.

I haven't purchased a proper defender yet, I've either developed my existing ones, or signed them from the youth team.

Playing with West Ham, my defenders:

Tomkins - 97 <<< 3rd season, he just went up loads!
Upson - 84
Illunga - 80
Behrami (playing out of position) - 89 (80)
NGala - 84 - Out on loan (probably final one!)
Spence - 74 - Out on loan
Sabillon - 84
Libermann - 90

I've sold: Davenport, Gabbidon, Spector

in my ML game Mexes is best(92) but best def i have used personally is Zayatte(im always hull) guy is a rock.

I removed Primus from Portsmouth as he retired, same as Ashton, so to keep them from being bought by someone else i added them to my County team in my ML.

He's not brilliant but he's definately one of the best i've got. I think he's on about 68 or something. I do have others on 70 but Primus is more reliable and less error prone. Always first on the team sheet.

this is my third season, usually i use barca but i decided to play with liverpool.

Degen/Johnson/Alves - Agger - Skrtel/Horymarqua- Insua

just bought chygrynskiy from barca (Ovr 88 age 24-25) and micah richards from city (ovr 87-88 age 24). and i already put skrtel and degen on transfer list.
Agger is definetely my best CB so far, he is 28 and hit 96. Skrtel is great too, he is 28 and hit 92-93.

I'm currently trying to acquire Ranocchia from Bari. He's 22 (in the second season of ML), 195cm, and has a 76 overall, 80 defense, 88 balance, and pretty solid all-around. Anybody try him yet?
