Daymos havn't done that Kennyboy. If you look in ML-tips you'll see that it says to look out for players with names you recognize ie. like Ribery and Robinho. It's Konamis great idea to make the game even more stupid.

BTW, I really recommend the thread about changing style of play for the teams, it really improves the gameplay.

Thats a very good thread..

I find that I can have 10 attemps on goal and the computer has 1 or 2.. but at the same time they can pass around their defence keeping posesion running triangles round my players..

only issue is if we spend hours sorting out more teams to play more realistic.. konami will only reset all the values with the next update.. :(

I was reading that in PES 2011 they will make the konami update process much easier.. with that I wonder what they mean..

perhaps when you turn your machine on it will now force you to update like it or not..?

I dunno..

I was just wandering if you have any more ideas on how to fix my problem? I would play on0line but the internet connection where i live is terrible so i mostly have no choice but to play off line.

Click yes and your D&C option file is gone and then you will have to re apply it.


As for playing online, yes your right.. But before you get scared

there are a good few thousand people out there using the D&C file and most of them do not wish to update just for the sake of 1 boot and transfers only up to Jan 15th 2010..

Now I've said it a few times before.. At the moment there are plenty if people online who have noT done the feb update..

If it comes to the point when I can't get a game online then I guess I will think about updating then.. but for now my online and master league is doing just fine without konami

Sorry Daymos for being annoying but is it not possible for me to download the Feb Update then and re-apply your excellent V2 OF?

I am on 1.03 and still able to get matches online but my major gripe is the fact that half the Celtic team is gone and is completely different now after the January transfer window.

Please let me know why I cant do what I am asking? Does it simply not work?

Download v2a or b again

I have explained how to do it many times.

If we put players there for v2 before then you would need to reinstall a fresh v2

if your wanting any of the changes from the feb update to blend with the boots and balls then your asking me a silly queston.

Offline December Update...HeLP!!!!!!!!

Can any one please advise me........, i'm pulling my hair out gagging to play and see D&C V2 OF. But i've got a slight problem... okay a huge problem the 360 i brought from ebay has been banned. So i cant download the Dec update of Balls & Boots. i have tried installing the offline update Daymos kindly posted in pg1 i'm not sure if that is the right one though, also i dont know which folder to put the Dec update in when connecting the 360 hard drive to my P.C.
Any help will be appreciated.......any one

I have only played 1 season, so it's NOT Robinho and Ribery's next life!

And you can't setup the Master league to let them regenerate players!

Someone else explained it in better words

it has something to do with the setting or perhaps the master league itself

it's still nothing I can change or control I'm afraid

Daymos the ready made memory cards your selling do they have the Dec updates or any other updates installed on them, for the people as myself who have an offline 360 can also enjoy the OF or is that not possible to do

Well mate

I finally got it sorted but by accident. I deleted my gamertag by accident so instead of recovering it, i started a new gamer profile and i signed up to Xbox Live gold membership. I did the nov and boots updates and then did the files and it worked off line. I don't know how this happened but who cares! Anyway look cheers for your help and sorry for wrecking your head!

I will defo make a donation..where do i do that?

I can always put the Konami updates on the memory card but how you would actually get it to work I couldn't tell you mate :)

FFS Damn Konami!!! Nearly all Celtic's transfers "In and Out" havent been done anyway and that was the only reason I did it! To have a proper Celtic team online like the one you and Cowson have set up in the V2 OF.

I think you need to re read what I wrote and understand the context.. this can be done by reading the last 10 or 15 pages.


I have always said from day one, not to do the feb update..

From a few peoples experiences its now common knowlege on here that all the feb update does is mess up everything..


you was asking about installing v2 over the update..

THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THE PROBLEM NO MATTER HOW YOU TRY TO INSTALL V2.. THE TEAMS WILL BE MESSED UP!!!

All i did was advise you against your methods which was to reinstall v2 after the the feb update (the same feb update that you were determin to install)

I just advised you on how to install the feb without erasing my OF because if you selected YES then you would have no option file anymore.. only the default konami updates.


If you need to go back to the boots and balls update then a couple of pages back I think its explained..


also whats all this play online business..

Sorry mate I misunderstood you.

I have now deleted the Feb Update from my Xbox System Settings.

The teams seem to be back to the way they were before ie. correct names for wolfsburg and bayern munich and stuttgart are back in there now.

I now seem to have a bigger problem. When I go to load my Master League I get error message up on the screen which says:

Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Please help?

I have won the championship and just started the premiership now in my second season. I dont want to start all over again.

Im sorry for hassling you. I honestly misunderstood what you were saying

now your master league save wont work unless your on the feb update.

I dont personally think there is a way to reverse the process

Thats what I have done mate. I played 2 games on Master League last nite after installing the feb update. I then deleted the feb update today like u said to do and now it wont load :(


Do I have to re-install the feb update now to get it loaded again and will all the teams be different ie. All the transfers u did in the V2 OF? Do I now have Konamis crappy transfers up til the 15th jan?

Can I definitely not re-apply your V2 OF to my game now and it will work and also carry over into my master league again?

What can I do? Feck im raging! :realmad:

then v2..

then feb update..

then your saved v2


see you cant then move your saved v2 back to another position as its like messing with the space time continuum lol

If myself and cowson create another v2.5 lets say..

then it will take place after the feb update..

I hear konami will make another update in march so we will possibly wait until then..

R u saying if I re-install the feb update I can continue my Master League but with Konami's crappy transfers and default kits etc? Also without the german teams etc u and cowson created?

I still dont really understand tho. If I downloaded the feb update does that not mean I now have Konami's edited data ie. kits and transfers.

So if I now apply all the edited data ie. kits and transfers (uniform data) from your V2 OF will they not copy over Konami's kits etc?

Therefore I will then end up with the V2 OF and the Feb update?

I just dont get how I can install the V2 OF after the December update but not the February one?

Im puzzled big time mate and I knpw Im probably doing your head in now. Sorry :blush:

I bit the bullet mate. Deleted the feb update and had to restart my Master League. As you said I had no choice really. Guess I will just have to win the Championship again.

Konami are gonna have to sort something so that these patches don't interfere with the OF's anymore.

The main reason I wanted to install the update was to play with a more up to date celtic team online. Dunno what I was thinking really as I forgot the transfers were only up to 15.01.2010.

The only other reason was to see if there were indeed any hidden gameplay changes as some peeps had said in the forums. I played 2 games and dont think I seen anything.

Ah well a lesson learned. Thanks for your help on this one Daymos. Much appreciated.
