1978 steve i jus downloaded the konami updates also the new one and after it was done i went to north london and change to arsenal and saved then attach transfer kit (xport) or any other one then find pes 2010 folder and one by one copy files once done go to settings then memory if you have two edit files delete one and your done. hope this helps

Ok so you did feb update too and german teams were still there?
Which edit file did you delete?
Did you go to settings in the game menu or where? When you delete edit file did you do this on xport after dragging files?
When i go into folder where v2 should go on xport - when i change north london to arsenal and drag v2 in both edit files become one so how do i do this? You say go into settings and then memory?
i done the konami updates on the in game download option then once there done i went to edit then edit team then north london then switched to arsenal i saved then i pressed xbox button then scrolled to system settings then it says your leaving game press yes. now you hook up your transfer kit copy the v2 files to your pes 2010 folder. i said in my last post to delete an edit file the reason you do this is because sometimes you will have two and that can cause problems do this and it will work i was trying and trying to get this working and this is the way to do it. peace

Cheers for the help. Ok i did everything you said up until you drag the 200 files plus the edit file in v2. When i drag them into my pes folder - 4B4EO801(PES2010) SUBFOLDER 00000001 i have my 200 files plus an edit file and an option file. Do i delete the edit file or the option file. I tried either one and it won't work. I did not see 2 edit files?

Daymos - What happens to my option file (V2B) if I download PES 2010 February update? which was released yesterday - Will the option file is still functioning as it should? - And will the new update function works in my present Master League? - Or must you and Cowson do your option files on a new way, so V2A & V2B work with the February update?

Erase the feb update and erase the edit data because its now damaged
then install the v2b edit data just like you did last time

Cheers mate. Pls read Camma's post above where he say's he had same problem as me but got it all working off line with the feb update.
He tells me to delete an option file but there is only one option file and an option bin along with 200 files. Anyway have a read of our last posts if you know what he means?
So basically to install the February updates I have to do the following?
1. Install both Feb updates ie. The first update and then the updated update released yesterday
2. Go to my System Settings on the Xbox, then the PES 2010 game folder
3. Delete the Edit Data file in there
4. Now copy Daymos and Cowsons V2 OF over the remaining data in the PES 2010 folder.
Someone please confirm that this is the proper procedure.
I have just won the Championship in my first season and I am about to start my second season in the Premiership.
What I would like to know is:
1. After doing the steps above will I be able to continue on with my Master League?
2. Will all the edit date ie. correct kits and names etc from D&C's V2 OF still be in my Master League?
and
3. Will any gameplay updates be applied (if there is any) to my game, including my Master League, after copying over D&C's V2 OF again?

I replied to Camma but he has not responded. I did all of this as advised. You download v2 first and then when you go back into your xbox and into settings then memory. yHe said there should be 2 edit data files but i can only see one along with an option bin and 200 files and that is it. If there is 2 edit files then delete one he said but i can only see one edit file.
Hey mate...think you are the only one to get v2 working with feb update. Can you confirm again...i did as you advised download 3 updates inc feb. I then go into edit mode and change north london to Arsenal. I then go into settings and it asks am i leaving game and i say yes. I then transfer v2 files over to xport. I then attach my hd back to xbox. I go into settings and memory and i see the 3 updates, 1 edit file, 1option bin and the 200 files. Where is this second edit file we delete?

When you say get v2 working with the feb update what do you mean..
Thats easy..
You do december boots and balls update > then v2 > then the feb update
When you load up the game for the 1st time it asks you if you would like to erase over the save data SELECT NO!!!
Now you will have a hybrib of my OF and also what Konami has messed up..
SO in english STAY AWAY FROM THE FEB UPDATE UNTIL MYSELF OR COWSON MAKE 2.5 FOR EXAMPLE
(BEFORE YOU GET EXCITED I DONT KNOW IF MYSELF OR COWSON WILL MAKE ANOTHER UPDATE... THERES ACTUALLY NO REASON TO GET THE FEB UPDATE!!
IF YOU REALLY WANT THE FEB UPDATE YOU CAN RE EDIT THE FORMATIONS AND CREATE PLAYERS YOURSELFS..
IT WILL ONLY TAKE A GOOD WEEK IF YOU DONT SLEEP AND WORK 24 HOURS PER DAY!!

I think those that have replied to you think you need help just getting the Option File into your console.
They dont actually realise that you know how to do this already but infact only want to play v2 while not connected to XBOX live..

If you look back a page or 2 Camma said he could play online but once he went off line he could not get it to work.
What do you think about my problem anyway..is it possible to fix?
What do you mean stay away from the feb update?
Can I not download the feb update and then re-apply your V2 OF over it again as I have done after installing the other updates ie. Downloading November update and then re-applying the V1.5 OF?
Konami say you can only play against another player online if they have the same DLC as yourself ie 1.03, 1.04 etc

You can do the konami updates after any D&C option file but you don't have to re apply the D&C option file afterwards
again.. when you load up the game and it says would you like to save over this data you click no and then you will still see the correct teams..
Click yes and your D&C option file is gone and then you will have to re apply it.
As for playing online, yes your right.. But before you get scared
there are a good few thousand people out there using the D&C file and most of them do not wish to update just for the sake of 1 boot and transfers only up to Jan 15th 2010..
Now I've said it a few times before.. At the moment there are plenty if people online who have noT done the feb update..
If it comes to the point when I can't get a game online then I guess I will think about updating then.. but for now my online and master league is doing just fine without konami

I have just one question Daymos. I've played 1 season in the Championship. Now I see that some teams recruit their own youth players up to 1 team. But some clubs have moved youth players like Ribery and Robinho up to the 1 team. Why have you done so these players are youth players? : O
I've looked at the players and I can look at the graphics that they are the real Ribery and Robinho. But why have you done to make them youth players for some random teams?

ask konami.. i have no control over what happens in the master league..
it could be the settings you have chosen to regenerate old players to make them young again in their next life..
