No mate i'm not in a parallel universe. There is nothing wrong with the keepers, on top player the good keepers are good, the keepers are one of the only things realistic with top player. People are either complaining about keepers saving their 40 yrd shots, or about when they press triangle to make the keeper rush out.
Also i never said there was nothing wrong with refs.
KEEPERS ARE FINE!!!

The problem seems to be when we call out the keeper to come out the box an head it out of play or boot it away, even when the attacker is closing him down but when it seems he is going to clear it when it has bounced and is in the air, but no he slide tackles and misses the ball (and sometimes/ most times) he takes out the attacker.

Not a joke, there is nothing wrong with them.
I just think everyone in this thread that is complaining about it just has no idea how to cope with defensive situations. There is nothing wrong with the keepers.

I can't believe anyone thought the keepers in PES09 were better. I once pressed circle/B on its own and my keeper turned to face his own goal and scored a beauty in that game.

If you find me one clip of a professional, real-world keeper who runs out to clear a ball and instead of kicking it with full power slides under it - allowing the ball to bounce over him - I will happily admit that the keepers are realistic. But that is not going to happen. Do you know why? Because no keeper in the world is that dumb and uncoordinated. Hence - the only thing PES simulates well is endless stupidity :huh:

Shabadoo your an idiot! Sorry, but its true. As Hunter said, most of us on here have played these games since day dot. So its not like we dont know how to play, and yes we all play top player!
When the keepers stand still and watch the ball go past them, or slide under a high ball or just generally fumble about a bit, with or without pressing triangle, its shit!
It does happen in the real life every now and then, but the keepers (and refs) are consistenly crap on this version of Pro Evo.

the keepers for me are fine, it's more to do with how stupid top player is. It's ridiculous, there are so many problems with top player(i still play on top player) on that difficulty it seems to make the computer controlled players super human.
Also why do people keep making out i think the refs are good, i don't.
REFS ARE TERRIBLE!!! They need sorting out. This should be number 1 or konamis improvment list.
The game has gone downhill since PES 6. The keepers are fine tho. I honestly have no problems with the keepers. I don't believe nobody agrees with me.
Play a game on regular mode and then play on top player with the same teams, look at the difference in your players ability, they will be worse or seem worse on top player.

I have to agree with the other guy. Sure, there are hitches in the game, and the refs are rubbish - BUT, half the complaints on here are from people who just are NOT FUCKING DOING IT RIGHT!
Why can't I score a free kick, why do i concede 7 goals a game on top level etc etc....it's because you aren't very good at the game...
How do I know this? Well, I and many other pro players ARE scoring free kicks, we are managing to not concede a truck load of goals every game on top level...and do you know why?
Because we fucking practiced!

Dudeski is a modern day genious!!! Your exactly right. I can score free kicks on top player too, i practised them. I rarely concede more than 1 goal, i have multiple consecutive clean sheets, as i'm sure you do.
Not to blow smoke up my arse, but i'm pretty good at PES.

We can all park the bus, defend till our hearts content, but it still doesn't account for the fact that if the defence is penetrated then the goalkeepers are useless.
