I kind of have changed my mind about this demo, I thought it was great at first but once you get into the game you start to see the bad things in it. The shooting is poor and the goalkeepers are even worse, these are the two things that annoy me the most.
I didn´t expect a lot tbh for this beta demo but to me it´s obvious that Konami released it to hear our thoughts about it. If they go in the right direction this game might become the best Pes ever

What about defenders having Iniesta like control and technique, that doesn't bother you? That almost bothers me the most.

Every team can pass the ball around tiil the cow come home.I really hope they sort this mess out.
if they don't, i think i'll pass this yearly football game updates and just play pes 2011 2v2 matches next year .I just get bored of fifa after about a day,Once you strip away the fancy dress theres always a cold game underneath.While pes is usually like an ugly bird that is a dirty bitch in bed,what you keep coming back too.

Jon Murphy did say this demo was only to show off player movement and was nowhere near the completed version. So i'm not gonna judge it based on this version.
Although i must admit that this demo is not all that. I did at times feel as thought i was playing FIFA 11. And the AI is just too good
You can jockey all you want while defending but once they release that chipped through ball it's 95% likely to end up a goal.
You cant even knock them off the ball and everyone plays like they play for Barca.
I like the passing but its TOO fluid. There is no transition in controlling the ball. Once you know the balls coming you can pass anywhere with 90% accuracy and will go through players sometimes. and the control is fantastic with anyone (superglue on boots!!?)
Defenders dribble like the best dribblers (Messi, Ronaldo!!).
You cant knock the attackers off the ball and they ghost past your defenders easily.
And the keepers still have the exact same animations.
But like i said it's just a demo. :ninja:

bamahmm:PES11 was the 1st decisive step towards project FIFA II, PES12 is based on PES11, it was quite obvious to be honest: Konami wants to offer FIFA II, which basically is FIFA with a few irrelevant gimmicks to make it seem more hardcore.

Played the demo once more for two hours and I´m afraid I changed my mind again.
This game has no hope of becoming good, even if the demo is 70-80% done. The dribbling, shooting, goalkeeping and the lack of tension in the game is to late to fix. And it dousn´t help that the Civilization series has also gone down from being great to shit!

I'm too scared to try 4 and 5 for that very reason. Civ 3 is one of the greatest video games of all time.

Civ 3 was great but Civ 4 with it´s expansions was the best Civ ever made ttd, then came Civ 5 a simplyfied game striped of all that was good about Civ 4++. An expansion pack is really needed for Civ 5, no question about it.
