Really really bad.

Dribbling is absolutely awful ,everything done at a 100 mph.So stupid and arcade like.

Shooting just doesn't feel right because the lack of power .

Heading is very good but i think they've made it way too easy to score with your head. You can proper bullet it in with you head.

The little flashup thing after a replay is the most annoying thing in the world, like hexagons all splitting up:realmad:.

Wtf are konami doing releasing this shit.
I'm not going to mention the improvements because the game is so fucked up .

Prepared for huge dissapointment when you download the demo tomorrow.

Ill judge tomorrow. Is it possible to adjust gamespeed in demo?

Over at PESfan.com all impressions were positive. But i dont hope this will be an arcade game. However bear in mind that real demo comes out in 3 weeks evnethough it sound stupid to release 2 demos in one month.

Really? I think it's got all the signs of the best PES ever.... It's not arcade like at all, the AI is improved beyond believe and the challenged game play is remarkable. yes the shooting needs a little re-working but that's to be expected from an 80% done game. The whole feel is great if not fantastic and not only is it fun but it is truly addicting to play aswell!
If it feels to fast put the speed down, and change your assisted settings. Also the off the ball controlling is difficult at first but now I use it all the time, PES is back.

So you don`t like the ( DEMO ) well , you can get rid of it and go get your FIFA animation feast .
I wonder what game are you talking about ? PES 2012 DEMO ? are you sure ?
because i have played it , you can dribble , 360 degree is there , you can fake shot any defender , the problem is about you , not the game , when ( so many ) fans like the game and you say that you don`t , so there is something wrong happened to you while playing let`s say such as ROBINHO has passed your poor defenders one by another ? or might be the naughty Ibra had a chip shot your goalie and scored a nice goal after passing him easily ? maybe he is the bad boy naymar , i know he could passed all your defenders and had a penalty then scored a wonderful goal ? or it`s all about that you are not a real football player though . chill out and go get your Other game , enjoy it but i won`t .

PES 2011 Demo was unplayable for me, but this demo is somehow playable. The problem is that almost everything is awkward.

It's hard to take this game serious at all.

WHAA!!!:shocking: ....dude! i don't know which demo you were playing but it's definitely not the one i played!
The Ai is actually pretty good this time around! they dribble, fake shots..and pressure you! now that's the kind of ai i want! more challenge. Since i'll be playing ML most of the time.

1. Goalkeepers are good! Didn't have any problems with them anyway. Played 11 matches...didnt see any dumb spills or silly goals.
2.Animation an improvement this time around! though not fifa kind of animation!.
3.Passing is slick now/Shooting feels satisfying.
4. Graphics has been enhanced!
5. Dribbling is much much better now!
6. Gameplay is Awesome! no more stiffness, and no more frustrations! unlike in pes 2011.

what i didn;t like is when i make a through pass, the player receiving the ball stills feels like he's on rails! but i just use the super cancel though. if Konami can fix this, i'll be happy!

now if we can only map our Goal Celebrations...

It's getting really good reviews and I should say it's the PES shaping up to be the best in the series.

Very good!

2 days compared to 11 matches...

i have been playing this demo for 11 matches and the majority of times the GK did't make any retarded choice.

Game improved beyond recognition compared to 2011, its way better.

That being said theres alot of things that still need to be improved to make this 2012 pes enjoyable.

-Goalkeepers are retarded, but KONAMI seems to be working on that lets see in the next demo.

-Shooting is nice the ball curls alot more and towards the goal most of the times which is what happens in real life aswell, but the ball is still too floaty sometimes and sometimes it goes way different than you wanted it to go so hopefully they improve it a bit.

-new shot fake is nice but why only left right and forward? we need to be able to do it in 8 directions at least.

-Players have too good ball control ( even the ones that don't have high ball control ) its like its glued to their foot too much even when they run, they need to tone it down just a bit

-Lob shoot still sucks, the height is pretty much like a high shot, seriously it needs to DIP alot more and have bigger height or its fairly useless. Whats the point if you can't lob the keeper even if hes at the penalty line just because the lob height is maybe half a meter higher than his height lol..

-Whats with acceleration? It seems once players make a move and start running they run at top speed always, they don't gain speed at all, it looks a bit weird for me

-You now have more options with pushing the ball forward, you can use RB and RT and push it medium distance or you can tap RB and you push it very far, very nice feature but when you standstill you can't push the ball alot left or right, you can only do it forward or diagonal but when going left or right the player has glued close control ( for example if some atacker is coming from my left and I want to drag the ball to the right to open space for miself I can't push the ball alot its always glued to your foot ).

-Player speed seems weird, one good thing is that they removed the catch up bug but one bad thing is that I can't rly notice a significant difference in 80 or 90 top speed, its pretty much almost not noticable, in reality someone with 90 speed should skin someone with 80 easily, if they run 30 metres one with 90 should gain a significant advantage, but so far I noticed that everytime your on a break or opponent is the defender and the attacker before him almost gain no difference they always run equal no matter if the defender is much slower or much faster than the attacker, I kinda don't get it is it scripted like the catch up bug only that the speeds are the same or that you can't catch up even if ur speed is 99 and the attackers 1? Idk but it would be much better if speed had much bigger difference in this situation and in the game aswell.

These are a few bigger flaws that I see for now, of course there are lot of small improvements but not deal breakers, these mentioned above are the most important issues atm.

gameplay: the catch up bug is gone (THANK YOU), and long through balls finally work now. AI still too easy. is it just me or is the pitch a lot bigger? i find it a lot easier to keep possession, but harder to press the opposition. still have yet to master the 2nd player controls, even on automatic. regardless, i won 2-1 first game on top player, Napoli vs Porto =D

layout:
stats view will take a while getting used to, now that they split it into 4 sections. not sure i like it. takes a while trying to figure out who's the best FK taker, who's the best capt, etc.

stats: the stats are a bit weird. i'm a bit upset they took away the WB position (maggio should not be a default SMF). also DMF is overrated now. seedorf and hamsik make better DMF's than CMF's apparently

overall, i'm satisfied and still looking forward to the final release

bugs: oh right, the replay logo bug is still there

as for the GK debate, i feel the GK AI is worse, but the animations are better, so when they make a save, it looks better on screen, but they still make the same handling mistakes as PES 2011. their movement and positioning is slightly better though in the demo 2012, but their handling is shakey.

then again, most of the goals i conceded were from Helton, the Porto keeper... or Kuscakak, the Man Utd keeper, or De Sanctis

i'll need to play again with Abbiati and i'll judge again. but wait, Abbiati is not that great either.... he's only rated 82

you see, that's the thing, all the GK's in the demo inherently suck because they just suck in real life, so i'm sure Casillas, Cesar, Buffon, and co. should be significantly better in the full game or next demo

I've got to wait till tomorrow but I'm liking the sound of some of the notes here. Delighted to see the catch up flaw removed.

One thing I really hope they removed is the panenka 'glitch' - basically in 2011 if you shoot a panenka penalty to either side of the goal the goalkeeper cannot save the penalty no matter what he does (ie stays standing or dives the correct way). Hopefully this has been fixed, perhaps someone with the demo can try it out?

This sums it up for me. more playable than the last but just looks and feels awkward alot of the time. AI is fantastically improved though. also this off the ball control non sense at corners, pretty sure that was a gimmick back in the day in a FIFA, shocked they would take that route.

one of the biggest annoyances is the way they sprint with the ball, its the same old tap in front that looks like the balls attatched to them by a string.

also i hated the skill scheme of last year and that seems to still be there.

flying volleys from outside the area are stupid.

controlling defenders and timing tackles is good and improved, and opposing AI, everything is not so...

I managed to get the PC demo. This feels unfinished and a bit dodgy. It does feel unfinished.
BUT THE AI IS FANTASTIC. Seriously, the opposing team players have individuality now, the AI defines dribblers, ball shielders, sprinters and passers much more. Something that wasn't there in CPU controlled teams in pes 11.

Not only that, the way the players move and the overall pace and BUILD UP you can make are truly realistic.
AND ALSO, THE ANIMATION LINKS AND TRANSITIONS ARE SMOOTH FINALLY.

Oh and keepers seem better, but they do need work. Thing is I haven't seen any REALLY STUPID SAVES that pes 11 had sometimes. Though sometimes they could save more.
Although, I do not want fifa superhuman goalkeepers that make point blank saves all the time, even if you put the worst keeper at goal.

The shooting is very rewarding and the placing seems to work better too. Yes I think so far, we have more control over the shots than in 11.

Things I didn't like were the acceleration. Someone mentioned it here. IT'S A BIT WEIRD. But maybe it's due to it being unfinished and unrefined. I am sure in the full game, this will at least feel better.

I am confident that this is the pes 3 (revolution) for ps3 PES so far.
Impressed with the AI to say the least.:)

Oh and it's not so easy even on professional this time. Imagine superstar. :D

Granted i have only played 4 matches, but i am finding it difficult to actually score. I like the way your closed down by the AI.
